Fox News host Tucker Carlson provided one of his most impassioned and epic monologues Monday night, when he savaged the elite media, political and cultural figures who jumped to conclusions and condemned the young men from Covington Catholic High School, confirming their own biases before checking the facts.
In the nine-minute opening to his show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Carlson picked apart Democrats in the media for failing to include the full context of the interaction between the young men and a Native American man named Nathan Phillips. The press reported on a short segment of an hour-long video, vilifying them as “hateful” and “racist” before the full video made the rounds, exculpating them.
