RINO Thom Tillis Sells Out the 2nd Amendment, Plans to Join Democrats in Supporting Gun Control

Tillis is another man selling his soul in the wake of this past weekend’s mass shootings.

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) is the latest RINO to sell out the Bill of Rights and support unconstitutional gun control, as he has publicly announced his support of “red flag laws” that will deprive Americans of due process and confiscate their guns.

“We’ve got to get members of both chambers on board,” Tillis said. “I’ve said to Sen. Graham I will do what I can to support and will support moving it out of the Judiciary Committee. We’ll have to stack up a committee hearing and move it onto the floor as soon as possible. If we have consensus before then I think we will agree to come and get it done.”

Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) are leading the way on this new push to infringe upon the 2nd Amendment, shamefully with President Donald Trump firmly in their corner.

“I appreciate President Trump’s strong statement rejecting hate and white supremacist ideology, urging us all to reject a culture of violence, as well as a call to action on multiple fronts,” Graham said earlier this week.

“We will be finalizing the details for this bill and reaching out to colleagues on both sides of the aisle in the coming days and weeks. I look forward to introducing final legislation with Senator Graham in the very near future,” Blumenthal said.

Extreme gun-grabber Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) is thrilled with turncoat RINO Senators such as Tillis and Graham doing her dirty work against the Constitution on her behalf.

“As you know, this bill creates grants to incentivize states into creating extreme-risk laws. …I am glad that we agree that providing incentives to states is the strongest way to enact these measures,” Feinstein wrote.

“Given the President’s statement in support for these laws… I again request that you put the Extreme Risk Protection Order Act on the agenda to be considered as soon as possible,” she added.

In a public address on Monday, Trump called not only for red flag laws, but also for an exacerbation of the social media crackdown that is punishing his own supporters. Shockingly, it appears Trump will be using federal resources to help Big Tech devise new methods of Draconian censorship, bordering on Orwellian pre-crime measures.

“We must do a better job at identifying and acting on early warning signs,” Trump said. “I am directing the Department of Justice to work in partnership with local, state, and federal agencies and social media companies to develop tools to identify mass shooters before they strike.”

He added: “We must stop the glorification of violence in our society. This includes the gruesome and grisly video games that are now commonplace…It is too easy for troubled youth to surround themselves with a culture that celebrates violence. We must stop or substantially reduce this and it has to begin immediately. ”

It is a dark time for the 2nd Amendment as well as the entire Bill of Rights and Constitution. The new Republican Party is abandoning all notion of constitutional fidelity, and weak RINO Senators such as Tillis – enabled by the capitulating President Trump – lack the backbone to stand for the founding documents when it counts.

Smith & Wesson Stepping Up Production to Meet Record Setting Astronomical Demand for New Guns

They’re stepping up production.

One of the biggest gun manufacturers in the United States is pledging to step up gun production as demand for new firearms soars to astronomical proportions. Smith & Wesson is pledging to boost their manufacturing to “maximum capacity” to meet unprecedented demand.

Gun sales in 2020 have crushed the records set in any previous year by a hefty margin, with the combination of the coronavirus and nationwide race riots aided and abetted by the Democratic Party serving to convince millions of Americans who have never owned guns before that they need to arm themselves.

As we’ve seen before during these surge periods, these results reflect that despite our record numbers in market share growth, consumer demand for our products during the quarter still exceeded our internal manufacturing capacity levels,” said Mark Smith, CEO of the firearms company that was founded in 1852, in a call on Thursday. “We’re continuing to ramp up…. We’re going to go to maximum capacity.

The company moved almost 600,000 guns from a period between May and July, smashing its records and depleting its existing inventory of newly manufactured guns.

When we get into these surge environments like this, and as you can see from the [gun background check numbers] we’ve never seen one quite this high, the demand in the industry just outstrips the industry’s ability to supply,” Smith said. “And we’re no different. You can look at the inventory numbers from us and from some of the other firearms, retailers, and manufacturers, and I think we’re just out of inventory.

Elevating existing manufacturing levels could prove critical to lowering surging prices for firearms, as retailers are unable to match demand. Ammunition continues to sell for record-setting prices, signaling a need for ammunition manufacturers to meet sky-high demand as well.

Smith and Wesson manufacturers a wide variety of popular civilian firearms, including AR-15 style rifles, a multitude of pistols and revolvers, and .22 rimfire rifles.
