Rush Limbaugh Has Raised Over $47 Million for Leukemia and Lymphoma Through His Show

Many hate-filled liberals on social media have suggested today that it is the work of “karma” that conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh has been diagnosed with stage-four lung cancer.

However, it is more likely that karma and prayer will fuel Limbaugh’s recovery from cancer considering his years of charitable giving.

Limbaugh has raised millions of dollars for leukemia and lymphoma along with fans of his radio show, putting their own money toward helping to rid the world of these oft-terminal cancers rather than just calling for government action.

“Every year I think it’s going to be the year that we finally have topped out and we’re not going to be able to beat the previous year. And I’ve never been right,” Limbaugh said during an edition of his Annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Cure-A-Thon.

“I and everybody at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America thank you from the bottom of our sizable beating hearts,” he added.

Limbaugh and his audience have raised over $47 million dollars for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America (LLSA) over the years. The LLSA “is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer” that aims to “cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.”
