RUSH: Trump Made Fun of Media for Believing ‘Golden Showers’ Story in Steele Dossier

Tuesday night, America’s most beloved conservative talk show host joined The Story with Martha McCallum and gave some insights into what he and President Donald J. Trump discussed during a recent golf outing.
“At lunch after the round, he was telling Lexi about the golden showers story and how ridiculous it is, and everybody was laughing – the fact that the media believed it, the fact that people actually thought that Trump would hire some prostitutes to urinate on a bed because Obama had slept in it – we’re laughing ourselves silly over this as he told the story,” Rush Limbaugh said.
McCallum asked Limbaugh if any of the noise – the constant harassment from Democrats over the past two years – bothers Trump. Limbaugh described Trump as “confident,” despite the Democratic Party’s wish to destroy him.
He also said that Trump is careful of what subjects he discusses around what people.
“He didn’t at any time sit down and tell me what he thought of Mueller, or what he thought of this or that – he doesn’t – he can’t tell who’s gonna leave there and speak and who isn’t. But he doesn’t hide from any of this,” Limbaugh said.
The “golden showers” story is a reference to the contents of the Steele Dossier, a largely fabricated and salacious document commissioned by Fusion GPS and the Hillary R. Clinton campaign. It was used as the impetus to obtain FISA warrants to spy on Trump’s campaign, despite the fact that it was filled with ridiculous tales that would be too outrageous even for a Hollywood movie script. One of those stories was that Trump hired Russian hookers to pee on him.
The media fell for it, hook line, and sinker. Apparently, that was humorous to Trump, who often makes fun of the press for its low ratings and lower IQ.
Late Sen. John McCain (R. Ariz.) fed the dossier to BuzzFeed in an effort to spite Trump, then went to his grave lying about it. BuzzFeed published it without a second thought.
