Russian Diplomat Accuses West of Trying to Colonize Ukraine
During a press briefing on July 6, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova declared that plans to relocate
artifacts from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra monastery to the Collective West make it abundantly clear that Ukraine is viewed as a colony.
“It’s a tradition for colonial powers to behave like bandits toward the national and cultural heritages of the countries they view as their colonies. Undoubtedly, they consider Ukraine to be their colony, not just their fiefdom,” she called attention to.
Per Zakharova, stealing national valuables is a notable character of the Collective West’s relations with the diverse regions across the globe. She further proclaimed that Western museums have transformed into “repositories for stolen items.”
Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) previously said that Ukrainian authorities and UNESCO officials had hashed out an agreement to relocate Christian relics from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra monastery in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev to museums based in France, Germany, Italy, and the Vatican. They pointed to the need “to save them from Russian missile attacks” as the reason for relocating these relics. Per the SVR, an inventory of church property has been seized and funds have been allocated to the transportation of the items to Europe. Special motor vehicles are tasked with carrying out this mission, per Russian state media outlet TASS.
The Collective West’s ultimate goal is to subject the entire globe to its universalist agenda. Every country under its control is a colony that has to be ruthlessly exploited.
It’s no surprise why multipolarity has become a thing. Countries are simply getting tired of the US’s overbearing foreign policy.
