SANITY: Army Clears Cadets Who Were Targeted by Leftist Mob for Flashing ‘OK’ Symbol on Live TV

West Point has released the results of their investigation into the use of an ‘OK’ symbol on live TV by Army cadets last weekend. They have cleared them of any racist intent in using the innocuous symbol despite the leftist cries for blood.

“There is no evidence that [the cadets who flashed the ‘OK’ symbol] hold any racist or white supremacist views or attempted to communicate such messages by using the ‘OK’ hand gesture on national television,” the Army wrote in their final report on the investigation.

“The evidence strongly supports a finding that the cadets were playing the “circle game”, an internationally recognized game in which people attempt to trick someone else into looking at an okay-like hand gesture below the waist,” the Army explained. “Sworn statements from all three cadets convey that their intention was to play the “circle game” in order to garner attention from a national audience as well as surrounding cadets.”

This is bad news for the digital lynch mob of leftist jackals that immediately rushed to conclusions and attempted to destroy the lives of the innocent cadets who did nothing wrong.

The controversy arose during a showing of ESPN’s College Gameday for the annual Army vs. Navy football game last weekend. Army cadets flashed the “OK” symbol during the broadcast which prompted an immediate social media backlash.

Soulless leftists have received their marching orders from the anti-American special interest group, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). They recently updated their list of hate symbols to include the “OK” symbol following a successful trolling campaign on 4chan.

“Even as extremists continue to use symbols that may be years or decades old, they regularly create new symbols, memes and slogans to express their hateful sentiments,” ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said in a statement.

“At this point, there is enough of a volume of use for hateful purposes that we felt it was important to add,” said Oren Segal, who is the director of the ADL’s Center on Extremism, referring to the ‘OK’ symbol.

People have already been fired and thrown out of polite society due to the ADL’s fear-mongering regarding this symbol. The ADL is attempting to create an atmosphere where wrongthink is punishable by banishment, akin to something out of the dark ages.

The Army’s decision to clear the names of their cadets is a breathe of fresh air in a system of politically correct tyranny that is headed rapidly toward idiocracy. The leftist mob has lost this battle within the ongoing culture war.
