Sarah Sanders Given Secret Service Detail at Home Amid Fear of Leftist Violence

After a tumultuous week during which officials in the Donald J. Trump administration have been harassed in the streets and at their homes, one member of the Trump team will be receiving a special Secret Service detail at her home.

“NEW: The Secret Service will begin providing security at the home of Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, on a temporary basis, a law enforcement official tells [Pete Williams],” said Peter Alexander on Twitter.

“For operational security purposes the Secret Service does not comment on its protective operations,” the Secret Service told CNN.

Sanders was refused service at the Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington, VA on Saturday after Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was run out of a Mexican restaurant in D.C. by an angry mob of socialists last week. Senior Trump advisor Stephen Miller was confronted also in public, and protestors swarmed his apartment in D.C. yesterday.

Big League Politics reported:

“‘Wanted’ posters for a top Trump advisor have appeared in the streets of Washington, D.C.

‘White nationalist, Trump lackey, and architect of both the Muslim ban and Family separation,’ the poster says.

The protestors did not stop at hanging ‘Wanted’ flyers. A crowd also gathered around his apartment.

‘Say it loud, say it clear: immigrants are welcome here,’ they shouted.”

Amid the growing tension, lawmaker Maxine Waters (D-CA) has called for increased harassment of Trump officials and supporters.

“And I want to tell you,” she said in the interview, “for these members of his Cabinet who remain and try to defend him, they’re not going to be able to go to a restaurant, to be able to stop at a gas station, to be able to shop at a department store. The people are going to turn on them, they’re going to protest, they’re going to absolutely harass them until they tell the president: ‘No, I can’t hang with you.’ ”

Trump weighed in on the issue yesterday.

“Congresswoman Maxine Waters, an extraordinarily low IQ person, has become, together with Nancy Pelosi, the Face of the Democrat Party,” he tweeted. “She has just called for harm to supporters, of which there are many, of the Make America Great Again movement. Be careful what you wish for Max!”

WATCH: Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez Slams Israel, Forced to Admit She’s Clueless

A socialist candidate for U.S. Congress from New York looked foolish during a PBS interview in which she was forced to admit that she is clueless regarding the conflict between Arabs and Israelis.

“I also think that what people are starting to see in the occupation of Palestine is just an increasing crisis of humanitarian condition,” said Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. “And that, to me, is just where I tend to come from on this issue.”

Kudos to the interviewer, who continued to push regarding Ocasio-Cortez’s use of the term “occupation of Palestine,” one rarely used outside of small circles of white liberals on college campuses.

“Oh, um… I think what I meant is, like, the settlements that are increasing in some of these areas, in places where, um, Palestinians are experiencing, um, difficulty and access to their housing and homes,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

When asked to expound a bit more, and Ocasio-Cortez threw in the towel.

“Yeah, I think I’d also just… I’m not the expert on geopolitics on this issue,” she said.

Ocasio-Cortez ended the cringeworthy segment back where she started, with the general policy proposal of a “two state solution” to the conflict.

With her lack of expertise, she should fit right in in Congress.
