Seattle Mayor Endorses Lawless Far-Left Autonomous Zone, Calls CHAZ a ‘Peaceful Expression of Our Community’s Collective Grief’

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan has come out explicitly in favor of the far-left Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), rebuking President Donald Trump for coming out against the lawless collective.

“Lawfully gathering and expressing first amendment rights, demanding we do better as a society and provide true equity for communities of color is not terrorism – it is patriotism,” Durkan wrote in a tweet.

“The Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone #CHAZ is not a lawless wasteland of anarchist insurrection – it is a peaceful expression of our community’s collective grief and their desire to build a better world. Given his track record, it’s not hard to believe that Trump is wrong, yet again,” she wrote in a subsequent Tweet.

She continued on for many more tweets, making every excuse she could muster for the lawless anarchistic protesters who have seized several blocks of the city and defaced the abandoned police station located therein.

“Seattle is passionate, we demand justice, and I believe we will be at the forefront of true, meaningful change. Nothing will distract our city from the work that needs to be done,” Durkan wrote.

“I remain committed to working with community, including the organizers currently on Capitol Hill, to re-imagine how we do things as a city, and what investments in public health, safety, and economic justice look like,” she added.

Durkan is pandering to the mob after they stormed the city council earlier this week to demand her resignation and make various other demands:

Rioters affiliated with groups like ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter stormed the Seattle, Wash. city hall on Tuesday evening where they demanded the Mayor’s immediate resignation.

The unruly activists are not content that Seattle is already one of the most left-wing dominated towns in all of America. These agitators demand satisfaction, and they want it now.

Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant, a self-described socialist, led the charge of hundreds of protesters who swarmed city hall. After they were let in, they immediately started a disturbance by leading chants and issuing speeches about the need for radical leftism.

The protest started at 9 p.m. and dissipated after about an hour and a half. In addition to demanding the resignation of Mayor Jenny Durkan, they also called for defunding the police.

The “CHAZ” that the Mayor talks up has already developed a warlord, who is instituting repressive police state policies to keep order in the collective:

A Seattle rap artist appears to be establishing his authority as the de facto “warlord” of a self-styled leftist state in the city’s downtown.

Reports from the scene of the Capital Hill Autonomous Zone indicate that Raz Simone, a Seattle rapper, has increasingly staked himself out as something of an authority figure within the jurisdiction. Witnesses describe Simone as asserting his authority over graffiti artists that attempted to paint over existing graffiti, threatening to shoot the street artists if they failed to obey his commands regarding new graffiti.

Some of the leftist anarchists who claim to have been involved in the original “creation” of the microstate have quietly expressed misgivings about Simone’s increasing position of authority in the autonomous zone, questioning whether their new warlord’s administration was any different from the centralized authority structure of the United States from which they claim to be seceding from.

Durkan shows how left-wing leadership can lead to total mayhem in a community. The only thing holding America back from totalitarian socialism is President Trump.
