SICK: Stacey Abrams Told Children Wear Muzzles So She Can Go Maskless

Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams, the current and former gubernatorial candidate infamous for contending that Governor Brian Kemp stole her rightful election, recently appeared maskless among dozens of masked-up children during a visit to a Georgia elementary school. Abrams herself is no stranger to hypocrisy, taking off her mask “on the condition that everyone around her” continued covering their mouths, including children, her campaign said.
A photo surfaced last weekend of the Georgia gubernatorial hopeful gleefully smiling among dozens of muzzled children at Glennwood Elementary School in Decatur. Abrams reportedly attended the school for an “African-American Read-In” event during the leftist holiday of Black History Month.
The Abrams campaign made no effort to deny the hypocrisy of the unaccomplished Democrat candidate, seemingly attempting to defend her by saying she only unmasked on the condition that others remain muzzled.
“Her campaign said she wore a mask to the event and only removed it so she could be heard by students watching remotely and for a handful of photos on the condition that everyone around her was wearing face-coverings,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reported, confirming that Abrams decided it was okay for herself to breathe freely provided the children remained masked up.
A spokeswoman from the campaign shot back at numerous criticisms they have received in the wake of Abrams’ blatant hypocrisy on masking.
“It is shameful that our opponents are using a Black History Month reading event for Georgia children as the impetus for a false political attack, and it is pitiful and predictable that our opponents continue to look for opportunities to distract from their failed records when it comes to protecting the public health during the pandemic,” Abrams’ campaign said in a statement posted various forms of social media.
Former Senator and gubernatorial candidate David Perdue (R-GA) has capitalized on Abrams’ masking hypocrisy, posting videos and banners relating to the incident on his Twitter account.
Breitbart News reported that Abrams has followed a bigger trend of Democrats who have blatantly ignored the mask mandates they purportedly support at their own convenience, including San Francisco Mayor London Breed (D), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D).
