Socialist Democrats Demand for U.S. to Take in Potentially Dangerous Palestinian Refugees From Gaza
Far-left progressive Democrats are demanding for the U.S. to take in potentially dangerous Palestinian refugees fleeing from Gaza as their conflict with Israel intensifies in the aftermath of recent Hamas terror attacks that shocked the world.
“Fifty percent of the population in Gaza are children. The international community as well as the United States should be prepared to welcome refugees from Palestine while being very careful to vet and not allow members of Hamas,” Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) said. Bowman is a member of the socialist congressional “Squad” that wants extreme leftist government to take control over America.
Bowman’s fellow squad member, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who is a Palestinian-American, has taken heat for flying the Palestinian flag outside of her Congressional office. She demands for Israel to “[lift] the blockade, [end] the occupation, and [dismantle] the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance
Even though these liberal radicals are calling for more refugees from Palestine, Republicans are signaling vehement opposition to the idea.
“The U.S. is the most generous nation in the world, but we are in no position to accept additional refugees, especially from a region with as high a risk of terrorism, given our nation’s inability to secure our own border or vet those who are already here,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said to the New York Post.
Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) stated that “the entire focus of the United States right now should be on rescuing American hostages, and making sure that Israel has every resource needed to defeat Iran backed-Hamas and defend its homeland.”
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) stated that “Iran should take responsibility for any Palestinian refugees caused by its proxy . . . war with Israel. Iran is responsible for the death and destruction — it should be responsible for refugees as well.”
The Republicans will not only be fighting the Democrats but also the globalist refugee trafficking industry led by the United Nations that is salivating at the opportunity to resettle Palestinian refugees to the United States.
“We continue to provide support to Palestinian refugees through the UN,” a spokesman from the Biden White House said. “The United States also has a worldwide refugee resettlement program in partnership with The UN Refugee Agency.”
Mariana Dahan, who lead the the World Identity Network (WIN) Foundation, believes that the “conflict . . . may add over 1 million people to the already staggering number of 6 million Palestinian refugees in the world.”
Taking in more dangerous, potentially radicalized individuals from a Middle Eastern battlefield will not make America stronger. These senseless calls for more refugees in the U.S. must be rejected.
