Protesters holding NAMBLA sign rush Columbia University building hosting Mike Cernovich speech

A speech by author and journalist Mike Cernovich at Columbia University was stormed by demonstrators — some of whom had been holding a pro-pedophilia North American Man/Boy Love Association, or NAMBLA, sign outside the building.

While it is unclear if the sign was created by a troll of an actual NAMBLA supporter, the protesters still stood behind, and held, a banner without reading what was written on it.

The sign read, “No White Supremacy, No Pedo Bashing, No Mike Cernovich” and was printed with the logos of Antifa, NAMBLA and Resist NY.

In April, a report from the Daily Caller detailed an extremely close relationship between The Revolutionary Workers League, the parent company of Fight for Equality By Any Means Necessary — more commonly referred to as By Any Means Necessary or BAMN — and NAMBLA.

Prior to Cernovich speaking, protesters stormed the lobby of the building obstructing ticketed guests from entering. Many had also obtained tickets to the speech itself, and went inside to heckle.

“People wonder why citizen journalism is on the rise, the reason is we are telling stories that no one wants to tell,” Cernovich told the crowd during his speech. “We’re telling the stories that are true.”

Independent journalist Tim Pool, who is widely held in high regard for his impartiality, was also accused of being a Proud Boy and was mobbed by members of Antifa chanting “Shame, Shame,” he told Big League Politics. He was not assaulted, as Antifa members who were acting as volunteer security for their protest warned the others not to touch him.
