Steve Bannon’s “War Room” Channel Yanked from YouTube

Steve Bannon’s YouTube channel, which hosts his “War Room” podcast, was scrubbed Friday evening, making him one of the latest victims in the mass social media purge underway since Wednesday night.

Speaking to TheWrap, a YouTube spokesperson stated that “in accordance with our strikes system, we have terminated Steve Bannon’s channel ‘War Room’ and one associated channel for repeatedly violating our Community Guidelines.”

“As we said yesterday, any channel posting new videos with misleading content that alleges widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election in violation of our policies will receive a strike, a penalty which temporarily restricts uploading or live-streaming. Channels that receive three strikes in the same 90-day period will be permanently removed from YouTube,” said the spokesman.

Twitter user @GraduatedBen said that Bannon’s channel was banned in the middle of a live episode.

This is hardly the first time Bannon has been suppressed by Big Tech. An episode of “War Room” was taken down last November after Bannon’s comments about FBI Director Christopher Wray and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

And back in April of 2020, Twitter suspended Bannon’s “War Room: Pandemic” account without giving a reason, though we can easily surmise that they felt he was spreading “misinformation” about the COVID-19 pandemic:

Long time ally of President Trump Stephen K. Bannon, along with co-hosts Jason, Raheem Kassam, and Jack Maxey launched “War Room: Pandemic”  in early January as a platform for analysis and updates on the Chinese Coronavirus pandemic.

Many point out that while politicians and the establishment media was consumed by the impeachment story of President Trump in January, those involved with “War Room: Pandemic” were a leading alarm bell  concerning the dangers of the Chinese Coronavirus and the attempted cover up by the Chinese Communist Party.

This is going to get worse before it gets better.
