Teen Sues Hospitals and Doctors Who “Coerced” Her Into Undergoing a Gender Transition

Chloe Cole, an 18-year-old young woman, filed a lawsuit against the hospitals and physicians who allegedly “coerced” her to undergo a gender transition — from girl to boy — in order to rake in a quick profit.
That’s the argument Cole’s legal counsel put forward in a press release that TheBlaze obtained on February 23, 2023.
“I am going forward in taking legal action because every second that goes by, more blood is spilled by the same individuals and medical centers that destroyed my body and childhood,” Cole declared in the statement.
“After we launched my lawsuit last year, there has been an explosion of both detransitioners and their lawsuits all over the country. Unfortunately, I am no longer alone in my pain and suffering,” Cole also commented.
Detransitioners are individuals who were subjected to chemical and/or surgical transition from one sex to the other who later returned to their original, biological sex. Cole is one of those detransitioners.
Cole is a female at birth who was afflicted by gender dysphoria. She underwent chemical and surgical gender transitioning procedures from the ages of 13 to 16.
Cole’s Center for American Liberty attorneys claim doctors lied to Cole and her parents in multiple ways. Those lies consisted of claims that Cole’s gender dysphoria would never be solved and Cole ran a high risk for suicide unless she was subjected to medical and social transitions.
Cole’s legal counsel argued that those lies are tantamount to fraud. As a result, Cole was subjected to a “lifetime of irreversible physical and psychological damage.”
Attorney Charles LiMandri argued that the medical professionals who exploited Cole were motivated by profits. Their “fraudulent and coercive actions” created “excruciating pain and suffering, permanent disfigurement, loss of enjoyment of life, and extreme emotional distress,” LiMandri added.
On top of that, Cole’s doctors removed her breasts, performing a double mastectomy, per a report by Michele Blood of TheBlaze.
“Chloe’s family sought medical treatment for her at Kaiser. Her physicians and other medical professionals violated the first norm of the profession, the Hippocratic Oath, when, instead of caring for her and providing medically competent diagnoses and treatment, they permanently disfigured her for profit,” attorney Harmeet Dhillon detailed in the statement.
“What happened to Chloe at Kaiser should never happen to any child in America, and the Center for American Liberty is committed to protecting children like Chloe,” Dhillon continued.
Dhillon Law Group and LiMandri & Jonna LLP teamed up with the Center for American Liberty to file a lawsuit against the Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan & Kaiser Foundation Hospitals who performed, oversaw, and/or recommended transgender hormone therapy and surgical intervention for Cole when she was a minor.
Conservatives must understand that current political fights go beyond economics. There’s a major culture war being fought in the US against a cultural Left that’s striving to destroy the family structure, basic sexual roles, and generating an overall environment of social chaos. Heavy-handed state action will be needed to put these people in their place. In the meantime, lawsuits are a good way to raise awareness about the Left’s nefarious plots to reconstruct society.
