Texas Abortion Saga Continues As AG Seeks To Appeal Ruling Banning Enforcement Of Pro-Life Law

In what is turning out to be a drawn-out battle for the soul of the Lone Star State and indeed the country, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced that Austin will be appealing the latest attempt by the baby-killing left to save as many unborn lives as possible.
According to The Epoch Times, the Republican-led state government of Greg Abbott will be placing a formal appeal to the decision made by an Obama-era District Judge to bow to pressure from the Biden regime to block the enforcement of SB 8, a bill passed by the Texas Legislature that went into effect last month.
“We disagree with the Court’s decision and have already taken steps to immediately appeal it to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, wrote on Twitter Thursday morning. “The sanctity of human life is, and will always be, a top priority for me.”
Indeed, this epic saga started shortly following the passage of Senate Bill 8 that bans abortions of foetuses who have detectable heartbeats, something that occurs around the sixth week of gestation. This bill stirred up quite a bit of opposition and butthurt amongst baby-killing aficionados for the crafty nature of its stipulations. The biggest source of butthurt was the clause that banned law enforcement from implementing any clause of the bill, instead reserving enforcement of this ban to the diligence of the citizens of Texas who wish to preserve life. This clause enabled the bill to circumvent the legal precedent set by Roe vs Wade.
This bill has the potential to set a legal precedent that other states are already looking to explore. In addition to this, the medical prerequisites for the ban would statistically ban nearly 9 out of 10 baby killings that currently take place in Texas. Unsurprisingly, this was a victory that our benevolent rulers could not let go unpunished or without counter.
Unsurprisingly, District Court Judge Robert Pitman issued an order on Wednesday to momentarily block the enforcement of SB 8 and opted to use SJWese instead of legal arguments to justify his judicial activism.

Texas Right to Life was keen to react to this turn of events but nonetheless unsurprised by the move.
“This is the legacy of Roe v. Wade: Judges catering to the abortion industry, crafting a conclusion first & then searching the depths of legal literature for a rationale later,” the organization said on Twitter, referring to the landmark Supreme Court decision. “Pro-Life attorneys are expected to appeal the decision immediately, in which we expect a fair hearing,” it continued.
