Texas Congressman Michael Cloud Exposes ATF Database

On January 31, 2022, reports surfaced on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) admitting to overseeing a federal database of approximately a billion gun transfer records.

This information was released in response to a letter that Texas Congressman Michael Cloud sent to the ATF back in November.

“A federal firearm registry is explicitly banned by law. Yet, the Biden Administration is again circumventing Congress and enabling the notably corrupt ATF to manage a database of nearly a billion gun transfer records,” Congressman Cloud declared.

“The Biden Administration continues to empower criminals and foreign nationals while threatening the rights of law-abiding Americans. It’s shameful and this Administration should reconsider its continued attacks on American gun owners,” Cloud added.

The ATF is the enemy of all gun owners in America. It’s unaccountable, unconstitutional bureaucracy that is not accountable to the will of the voters. For that reason, it must be exposed.

This is the first step in building a grassroots political movement that elects politicians who will ultimately work to abolish the ATF. This is one agency that must be axed with the quickness.
