Texas RNC Committeewoman Toni Anne Dashiell Bows to Ronna McDaniel as Texas GOP Demands New RNC Leadership

Texas RNC Committeewoman Toni Anne Dashiell is spitting in the face of Texas conservatives by doubling down on her support of failed Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna Romney-McDaniel to be re-elected to her post despite massive failures in the midterms.

The Texas GOP executive committee unanimously approved a resolution last weekend demanding that McDaniel be ousted and replaced with a more competent alternative.

“The grassroots have lost faith in Chairwoman McDaniel and the RNC and believes the party needs new leadership that will address deficiencies in fundraising, messaging, [get out the vote efforts], and election integrity and put the party in closer alignment with its grassroots supporters and voters,” the resolution states.

Showing how completely out of touch she is with conservatives in her state and nationwide, Dashiell penned an op/ed for the Daily Caller titled, “Ronna McDaniel Is Essential To The GOP’s Future Success.”

“You can see McDaniel’s belief in the grassroots directly reflected in the RNC’s investments and achievements over the past three cycles. The strength and growth of the Republican Party is palpable under her leadership, which is why I am proud to endorse her for another term,” she wrote.

“With Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel at the helm in 2024, I am confident our grassroots will continue to be uplifted, our Party will continue to grow, and we will continue to see historic gains in Texas and across the country,” Dashiell added.

Big League Politics reported on McDaniel defending the RNC’s record of abject failure in the midterm elections, showing how she is ill equipped to do anything but read talking points prepared by her incompetent handlers:

After a disastrous midterm election, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, the niece of despised RINO Mitt Romney, is refusing to take any accountability for her failures.

McDaniel appeared on Fox News where she defended the actions of the RNC and actually claimed that the midterms were a success because the Republicans narrowly retook Congress.

“We build the infrastructure. We do the voter registration, uhh, we are doing community centers and outreach. We build a road that the candidates drive on. We put the candidates in a position to win,” she said.

“I think, with the RNC’s record this cycle of turning out more than 4 million more Republicans, of winning statewide in almost every battleground state proves that the turnout worked. We just have to understand why one Republican won in a state and one didn’t, and that’s going to come down to messaging,” McDaniel continued.

“But I think from an RNC standpoint, we flipped the House and our ground game worked,” she added.

Texas Republican Party Chair Matt Rinaldi and Texas RNC Committeeman Robin Armstrong are endorsing McDaniel’s opponent, Harmeet Dhillion, for RNC Chair. Dashiell should follow suit if she does not want to be flushed with the other RINOs responsible for the midterm failures.
