Texas Senator Ted Cruz Endorses Donald Trump for 2024

Texas Senator Ted Cruz has officially endorsed former presidential candidate Donald Trump after achieving a major victory in the Iowa caucus on January 16, 2024.

In a post he published on X, Cruz declared that he is proud to endorse Trump and proclaimed that it is “the time for us to unite to oust Joe Biden and save our country from the Democrats’ destructive agenda.”

Trump came out victorious in the caucuses in Iowa on January 15 with 51% of the vote, which bested the prior victory margin record set back in 1988.

Cruz described Trump’s victory in Iowa as “decisive,” before urging Republicans to rally behind Trump and “beat Joe Biden.”

On top of Cruz’s endorsement, Trump has received key endorsements from other Texas leaders such as Governor Greg Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, Attorney General Ken Paxton, Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham, and Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller.

The Republican Party is Trump’s Party no matter how one slices it. The days of Bush-style neoconservativism in the GOP are over.

America First populism — immigration restriction, a non-interventionist foreign policy, and economic nationalism —  is the wave and despite its initial flaws, it can’t be stopped and will be the inevitable orientation of right-wing politics

Anyone who stands in the way, will be crushed.
