The Fake News Media Anoints a New Contender to Dethrone Trump: Megan Rapinoe

President Donald Trump’s re-election chances have never looked better, as his poll numbers continue to spike while his potential opponents adopt radical positions to appease the inflamed Democratic Party base.

The fake news media is getting desperate, so desperate in fact that they are turning to foul-mouthed narcissist Megan Rapinoe, who recently led the U.S. women’s national soccer team to a gold medal, as their new candidate du jour to stop President Trump.

“Rapinoe’s popularity and notoriety are emblematic of our divided nation. Progressives love her candid — and profane — reaction to a potential visit to the White House, while conservatives have, not entirely unfairly, compared her National Anthem protest to another right-wing villain, Colin Kaepernick,” wrote Mediaite.com columnist Colby Hall.

“Megan Rapinoe is filling the leadership void,” MSNBC said.

Public Policy Polling is even claiming that Rapinoe is currently ahead of President Trump in a hypothetical head-to-head match-up for 2020. After conducting a poll of 604 voters, they allege “that Rapinoe gets 42% to 41% for Trump.”

“Rapinoe may be an unlikely presidential candidate but her numbers still speak to a broader truth about Trump’s standing,” analysis from the poll said.

As an entitled LGBT activist, Rapinoe’s lack of respect for the U.S. flag is certainly within the Democratic Party mainstream.

Her political views are in line with the Democrats as well. Rapinoe made it clear during a recent CNN interview that she is triggered by Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, as it hurts the feelings of the various victim groups who make up the Democratic Party constituency.

“Message to the president,” she said. “I would say that your message is excluding people. You’re excluding me. You’re excluding people that look like me. You’re excluding people of you’re excluding, you know, Americans that maybe support you.”

“I think that we need to have a reckoning with the message that you have and what you’re saying about with ‘Make America Great Again,'” she added. “I think that you’re harking back to an era that was not great for everyone.”

She continued to pontificate without mentioning any fact or specific policy proposal in her rant against the President Trump and his patriotic agenda.

“It might have been great for a few people, and maybe America is great for a few people now, but it’s not great for enough Americans in this world, and I think we have a responsibility, each and every one of us, you have an incredible responsibility as the chief of this country to take care of every single person and you need to do better for everyone,” Rapinoe said.

With a party that features Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-MA) as one of their prominent figures, the vain and ignorant Rapinoe may have a future in Democratic politics. If she threw her hat in the ring for 2020, she would likely be among the front-running contenders as liberals continue to lose their marbles in the age of Trump.
