Toledo Man Shoots, Kills Police Officer After Spraying “Jesus is Black” During Cathedral Arson
Officer Brandon Stalker was only 24 years old.

A man wanted in connection to a racially motivated crime against a Toledo, Ohio Catholic cathedral shot and killed a police officer executing a warrant for his arrest last week. 27-year old Christopher Harris reportedly shot and killed 24-year old police officer Brandon Stalker.
Arrest warrants had been issued for Harris in connection to an alleged vandalism and arson at Toldeo’s Rosary Cathedral on January 18th. Harris had allegedly spraypainted the phrase “Jesus is Black”and “black” on the cathedral multiple times, before dousing the church doors with fuel and lighting them aflame. The interior of the cathedral was undamaged.
In one Facebook post just days before the arson attack, Harris bragged of his intention to “set fire” to the Roman Catholic Church. The Toledo man’s social media is filled with religious ramblings and conspiratorial thinking. On the page- which is still active on the notoriously censorious Big Tech platform- Harris even mentions the ongoing police standoff outside of his house.

A squad of Toledo Police later arrived at Harris’ residence to execute the arrest warrant. Harris reportedly brandished a firearm before retreating inside, leading to a standoff situation in which police officers sought to negotiate.
Toledo Police describe Harris as exiting his residence after tear gas was deployed with firearms in both hands. He began shooting at police, shooting Stalker in the head. Stalker was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Harris was facing charges of ethnic intimidation, two counts of vandalism and two aggravated arson counts in connection to the cathedral attack.
Stalker joined the Toledo Police at the age of 22. He was the father of two young children and leaves a fiancé behind. Officer Stalker’s family and friends recount him as a pillar of the community and a high school baseball coach at his alma mater, Whitmer High School.
A GoFundMe has been created for the purposes of Stalker’s family, who have been deprived of their father. Almost $60,000 has already been raised.
The incident of racially motivated crime, which ended in the murder of a police officer and young father, has been largely ignored by the mainstream media.

A 74-year old man was attacked and killed in a seemingly unprovoked fashion last month in Phoenix, Arizona, following a series of events in recent months in which Asian senior citizens have been attacked. The Phoenix Police are declining to describe the event as a hate crime, but accounts of Juanito Falcon’s death are reminiscent of so-called ‘knockout game’ incidents.
A violent attack leaves a 74-year-old grandfather dead. On 02/16, near 17th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, Juanito Falcon was attacked by Marcus Williams. Juanito died from the injuries two days later. Williams has been arrested and the reason for the attack is still unknown. pic.twitter.com/xtMHf70kDV

Accounts of the attack describe a man attacking Falcon in an unprovoked fashion in a restaurant parking lot in North Phoenix, knocking him to the ground with one punch. Falcon’s skull was fractured when he hit the ground, and the 74-year old man died at a hospital two days later. Two weeks the violent attack, which the victim’s daughter has indicated occurred as her father was merely taking a morning walk, Phoenix Police arrested 40-year old Marcus Williams, who is facing a charge of murder for the killing. Williams allegedly escaped with scene with his girlfriend in a car after the attack.
Some members of the Asian American community have speculated that the killing follows in the vein of a series of racially charged hate crimes targeting Asians, mostly in California.
Even as charged suspects arrested in violent crimes targeting Asians have been mostly black, some left-wing organizations have cited supposed “white nationalism” and Trump supporters as the culprits behind knockout-game style assaults. A demonstration drawing attention to crimes against Asians in New York City targeted “white supremacy,” directly following an attack on a senior for which a young black man was arrested.
The motive behind this heinous knockout-style attack isn’t entirely clear, but it follows in a pattern of incidents that are all too common.
