TOUCHING: Trump Supporters Carry World War II Veteran at Arizona Rally

A touching moment occurred at a Trump rally in Arizona on Wednesday, when two men were seen carrying an elderly World War II veteran to designated seating at the event.

The patriot could be identified as a World War II Veteran through his hat.

Video of the event showed the love the Trump rally crowd expressed for the rare veteran. Rallygoers chanted “USA, USA,” quite possibly recognizing the fellow as a veteran of the World War from his hat.

In an era where fewer and fewer World War II veterans are living and able to recount their experiences fighting in the greatest war in history, it’s fitting that the public takes as many chances as possible to thank those who placed their lives on the line in the war that preceded a half century of American prosperity.

President Trump himself saw video of the touching scene en route to the venue for the event.

Fittingly, the rally is being held at Phoenix’s Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Pre-event footage showed a possibly record setting crowd for a Trump rally in Arizona.

President Trump is set to begin his remarks at 7PM Arizona time. He’ll boost Republican Senator Martha McSally, who faces a re-election battle in the state in 2020.

Arizona is likely also to be a competitive state in the presidential election. The once solid-red state has shifted purple in recent years as the state’s population has increased exponentially.
