Trump Lays Down the Law to GOP Senators: ‘Your Head Will Be on a Pike’ if You Assist Dems on Impeachment!
President Donald Trump is getting hardcore to wishy-washy GOP Senators who are considering doing the bidding of the Democrats during the ongoing Senate impeachment trial.
The Daily Mail is reporting that GOP Senators have received the following warning loud and clear: “Vote against the president, and your head will be on a pike.”
Although it is highly unlikely that the necessary 20 Republican Senators would flip and vote to impeach Trump, the President wants a united front to stand against the impeachment witch hunt heading into the general election in November.
Spineless establishment RINOs in the Senate, including but not limited to Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mitt Romney of Utah, Susan Collins of Maine, and Ben Sasse of Nebraska, may consider throwing a token vote toward the impeachment of Trump just to show their disdain for the President. Trump is warning that such a vote will not come without dire political consequences.
Romney has already buckled and said that he wants to hear testimony from jilted former administration member John Bolton, who has been called incompetent by Trump following his ouster from the White House.
“I’m interested in hearing from John Bolton, perhaps, among others,” Romney said.
Meanwhile, President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell want a speedy impeachment trial that doesn’t involve the calling of witnesses. They want to avoid the type of fishing expedition that occurred during the shameful Mueller probe that yielded no evidence of Russian collusion after years of investigations.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has thrown down the gauntlet to the RINOs of the Senate, saying he will hold them accountable if they join the Democrats to allowing witnesses by calling people like Hunter Biden and CIA whistleblower Eric Ciaramella for questioning.
“If you vote against Hunter Biden, you’re voting to lose your election, basically. Seriously. That’s what it is,” Paul said last week. “If you don’t want to vote and you think you’re going to have to vote against Hunter Biden, you should just vote against witnesses, period.”
“My first preference would be to be done with it as soon as possible and not to have any witnesses,” Paul said. “If they insist on having people like Bolton coming forward, my insistence will be not just one witness. But that the president should be able to call any witnesses that he deems necessary to his defense.”
The administration has had enough of the insolence within the GOP. Trump will not tolerate traitors within his own party aiding and abetting the Democrats during their attempted impeachment coup.
