Former President Donald Trump has put media giant Fox News in his crosshairs, highlighting their reluctance to cover Dinesh D’Souza’s new film “2000 Mules,” which displays damning evidence of designed election irregularities during the 2020 presidential election.

Trump had harsh criticism for the network that, he said, “won’t even show or discuss the greatest & most impactful documentary of our time, ‘2000 Mules,’” saying definitively that, “Fox News is no longer Fox News.”

The statement was sent to his supporters on Truth Social, the former president’s social media platform.

The former president even suggested CNN fill the void that exists in mainstream conservative media, suggesting they “go conservative,” since nobody is watching their “Fake News” in its current state. He added, “As I say, what the h— have they got to lose?”

D’Souza has been vocal recently about both Fox News and Newsmax reportedly banning discussion of his important film and not having him on to discuss it, with a partner on the documentary, True the Vote Founder and President Catherine Engelbrecht, stating that she was asked not to mention the film while being interviewed on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

On Thursday, D’Souza addressed the issue on the “Dinesh D’Souza Podcast.” By his own admission, it seems that Carlson intended to show a trailer for the movie during an interview with Catherine Englebrecht on the topic of her work during the 2020 election.

Apparently, the issue arose from D’Souza, correctly or incorrectly, interpreting the terms of using parts of his film to be such that the trailer would not mention the documentary by name. According to D’Souza, a representative of Carlson’s show sent him a text, saying that, “If you want a full 90 seconds for your trailer, then buy an ad on the show for a full 90 seconds. No more free ads for you.”

Whatever the details of the misunderstanding between Carlson and D’Souza may have been — each side has an understandable take — the network, Fox News, has objectively remained very quiet about the bombshell news contained in the documentary that is changing the way many Americans view the 2020 presidential elections — while confirming the perspective of many others.

Both Newsmax and Fox News have been incredibly underwhelming in their reporting of the massive voter irregularities across the nation that likely put the U.S. into the calamitous situation we now find ourselves in.

Is D’Souza’s movie being interpreted by the networks as an indictment of their failure to adequately cover the 2020 presidential elections? Are networks like Fox, networks that cut off White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany when she was making her case to the American people, running from their past by not using their reach to propel information necessary for the public good? Because, for whatever reason, the lead is being buried on Fox News.

Trump is right to sound off on these outlets. The release of “2000 Mules” is, in fact, the news. It is, arguably, the biggest story of the last two years. Yet, it’s being covered as if there’s nothing there worth seeing.

Previous reporting by Big League Politics has covered this important documentary and the evidence of orchestrated misconduct suggested by the film, describing some of the shocking elements:

“The video shows a concerning pattern of multiple drops by the same individuals, dropping off what appear to be stacks of ballots by lone voters and a common theme of taking pictures of drop boxes after the votes were cast — D’Souza suggests that the pictures, similar to Amazon delivery methods, were to show proof of their illegal act to whoever was paying them. In the opening of the trailer, in a voice-over showing video of one ballot stuffer in the act, D’Souza declares that, “This one mule made 53 trips to 20 drop boxes; he’s not alone.

“The documentary looks to be a fantastic analysis of the fortification of the 2020 presidential election.”

The bombshell reporting in Dinesh D’Souza’s film is the reason we have a free press. For mainstream conservative outlets to pay it such little attention is a strong indictment of their usefulness as sources of information.

Donald Trump is 100% right that Fox News is no longer what it once appeared to be.
