Tucker Carlson Blasts Jeff Bezos and Washington Post Reporter Erik Wemple for Trying to Dig Up Dirt on Him From College

Tucker Carlson has blasted Jeff Bezos and “one of his minions” at the Washington Post for trying to find “anything naughty” that he may have done in his college years.

Tucker called out Bezos and Post reporter Erik Wemple during a segment on Tuesday night’s episode of “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

A transcript is as follows:

“We spent the day hearing from quite a few old college classmates, in some cases people we’ve been out of touch with for 30 years. It was nice, but here was the occasion for it: Jeff Bezos had one of his minions, a mentally unbalanced middle-aged man called Erik Wemple, pull our dusty college yearbook and call around and see if we’d done anything naughty at the age of 19. That sounds like fun. Let us know if you hear any good stories. But before Bezos drops any more of his billions on opposition research, he should know that it will not affect any election outcome. This is a news show, it’s not a political campaign. No one here is running for anything or plans to. On the other hand, if Jeff Bezos wants to come over to reminisce about 1987 on this show, he is always welcome, anytime.”

According to RT, Wemple has already written about Tucker five times this year. His most recent article was an op-ed published Wednesday titled “Tucker Carlson despises the Derek Chauvin verdict.”

It is unclear if Wemple has found dirt on Tucker from the late 1980s, let alone if an article about it is forthcoming.
