Tulsi Gabbard Goes On GOP Endorsement Spree Following Announcement To Leave Dem Party

Ever since former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard left the Democrat party, she has been on a Republican endorsement spree.

Though it’s still unclear which party Gabbard plans on joining – or if she will remain independent. Gabbard has been outspoken about why she is trying to get as far away from Democrats as possible.

“I believe in a government that is of, by, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite. I’m calling on my fellow common sense independent-minded Democrats to join me….” she said in her initial statement.

“If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me,” Gabbard concluded in her announcement.

In Gabbard’s most recent GOP endorsement, she appeared in a new re-election ad for South Dakota Republican Governor Kristi Noem, which was released on Tuesday.

“I’m Tulsi Gabbard, and Kristi Noem is a friend of mine. We believe in defending freedom and protecting what makes this country so special,” Gabbard says in the ad.

“Kristi loves South Dakota and fights against extreme policies that Jamie Smith supports, like raising taxes, mandating vaccines, and taking away your gun rights,” she adds.

Just ahead of the 2022 midterms, Gabbard also tweeted words of support for Ohio Republican Senate candidate J.D. Vance.

“Tim Ryan represents everything that is wrong with the warmongering Washington Establishment. I’m endorsing @JDVance1 because he knows the cost of war, and that our government exists to serve the people, not the other way around,” she wrote.

On Monday, Gabbard endorsed Michigan Republican House candidate Tom Barrett who is running against Democrat Rep. Elissa Slotkin who was recently endorsed by so-called Republican Liz Cheney.

“I’m here and really proud to support fellow veteran Tom Barrett, who’s stepping up to serve and lead our country in a time of need in Congress. Having served in Congress for eight years on the Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees, I know firsthand that a vote for Slotkin is a vote for more war,” Gabbard said in a video provided to Fox News.

This list of GOP endorsements from Gabbard goes on. Earlier in October, the former Hawaii Rep. endorsed Kari Lake, the GOP candidate for governor in Arizona.

In her stamp of approval, Gabbard stated, “For too long establishment leaders from both parties have sought to enrich themselves, play games, and build up their power while ignoring and even enabling the suffering of millions of hard-working Americans.”

“Kari Lake is a leader who puts people first, is fighting for border security, energy independence, public safety, and other policies that actually make life better and more affordable for the American people,” she added.

“Kari Lake isn’t afraid to call out the warmongering elitist cabal of permanent Washington and the Military Industrial Complex, and their propagandists in the mainstream media,” she continued. “I look forward to supporting @KariLake ahead of these critical midterm elections.”

Regardless of your thoughts on Gabbard leaving the Democrat party, these are strong words in support of GOP candidates.

They will definitely garner attention in support of Republicans. Especially from moderate and independent voters.
