Twitter Fail: Stephen King Thinks MS-13 is a Firearm

Published

In a stunning act of stupidity, horror author Stephen King posted a Tweet alluding that the violent criminal gang MS-13 is a firearm, and was used in this week’s Florida school shooting that left at least 17 dead.

The now-deleted Tweet was made in response to well-known Never Trumper Rick Wilson, who was attempting to make a jab against the President, stating that “you’re a hell of a lot more likely to be killed in FL by an opioid overdose than MS-13.”

King fired back, telling Wilson “Don’t tell that to the parents of the kids who got shot in Broward County today,” conflating MS-13 with AR-15, which was the weapon used by the school shooter in Florida.

The school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School outside of Boca Raton, FL ended in the deaths of at least 17 people, according to law enforcement.
