Twitter Suspends Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Account, Forces Her to Delete Post Against Mandatory Facemasks

Big Tech is at war with free speech.

Twitter has suspended the account of Congressional contender Marjorie Taylor Greene, in the latest assault by Big Tech against the freedom of speech of the outspoken conservative champion.

Greene has been suspended for 12 hours by Twitter because she posted a message in opposition to mandatory face masking in Georgia. They are forcing Greene to delete the post in order to regain access to her account, which could be seen as a form of electoral interference.

“Time to UN-Mask America! Healthy people and children should NOT be wearing masks. Children need to see parents, teachers, and care givers faces in order to learn. Mask shaming needs to end now. Re-Open America! Re-Open Schools!” the censored tweet read.

Greene received the following notice from Twitter for making the post:

Big League Politics has reported on how multiple social media platforms have attempted to unperson Greene for her unabashed right-wing beliefs:

Facebook has censored a political advertisement from Congressional contender Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia after anti-American socialist Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was triggered by its contents.

Omar made a post about Greene’s ad, which featured a “scary looking” AR-15 rifle. The supposedly empowered feminist woman could not handle seeing the gun and demanded that her precious little feelings be protected by tech overlords as a result of her weakness…

It’s worth noting that Facebook’s representative who tweeted that the post had been censored is a Democrat operative who formerly worked for the both Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee and the House Democrats’ PAC…

Greene is refusing to back down even as she has become infamous due to constant attacks from the Democrat Party and fake news media. She even seems to revel in the attacks in many circumstances…

Another one of her campaign ads were censored by Facebook before she won her primary election. She said she was locked and loaded and ready for ANTIFA terrorists if they came to Northwest Georgia.

“ANTIFA terrorists have declared war on America,” Greene says in the ad. “Rioting, looting and burning our cities. George Soros, Hollywood elites, and Joe Biden’s staff are funding ANTIFA.”

“I have a message for ANTIFA terrorists,” she said as she locked and loaded her rifle. “Stay out of Northwest Georgia. You won’t burn our churches, loot our businesses or destroy our homes. It’s time to take our country back, save America, stop socialism!”

The conspiracy by Silicon Valley giants to destroy conservatism is obvious and at hand. These hostile, anti-American entities must lose the Section 230 privileges that allow them to maintain their censorship policies.

Twitter Launches Crowdsourced Fact-Checking System Called “Birdwatch” to Fight “Misinformation”

Who saw this coming?

Twitter has rolled out a new feature to fight what they consider to be “misinformation.”

The new feature, released Monday, is called Birdwatch. In a post on the Twitter Blog, Vice President of Product Keith Coleman writes that Birdwatch will allow people to identify information in tweets that “they believe is misleading” and to write notes “that provide informative context.”

We believe this approach has the potential to respond quickly when misleading information spreads, adding context that people trust and find valuable,” Coleman said.

As of now Birdwatch is a standalone site, though Twitter claims they will eventually make notes posted to Birdwatch directly visible on certain tweets.

VP of Product Coleman continues: “In this first phase of the pilot, notes will only be visible on a separate Birdwatch site. On this site, pilot participants can also rate the helpfulness of notes added by other contributors. These notes are being intentionally kept separate from Twitter for now, while we build Birdwatch and gain confidence that it produces context people find helpful and appropriate. Additionally, notes will not have an effect on the way people see Tweets or our system recommendations.”

The format of Birdwatch will supposedly combine elements of Wikipedia and Reddit’s moderation tools, according to NBC News. Birdwatch users will be able to flag tweets from a dropdown menu on Twitter itself, but discussion about the flagged tweets will only be able to take place on the Birdwatch site. Birdwatch will also implement a rating system that will allow users to upvote or downvote the notes of others.

This is the logical development of Twitter’s commitment to identify and suppress content they deem “false” or “dangerous.” Keep an eye out for more such features in the future.
