UK’s Prince Andrew Too “Nervous” to Travel Aboard After Ghislane Maxwell’s Arrest

The UK’s Prince Andrew is reportedly nervous” to engage in any international travel in the wake of Ghislane Maxwell’s arrest last week. The UK royal is said to have canceled a golf outing to Spain in the midst of the news, according to reporting from the Sun.

An anonymous source described as a “palace insider” close to the Prince described Andrew as such in remarks to the Sun, stating that it is unlikely the scrutinized royal will leave the UK for some time and that he will probably never visit the United States ever again.

Andrew is a former Jeffrey Epstein associate who is publicly known to have visited the pedophile billionaire’s private island in the Virgin Island. Virginia Roberts, a woman who was trafficked as an underage girl by Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell, alleges that she was ordered to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was 17.

The royal, who was pushed out of representing Britain’s monarchy publicly after an embarassing interview in which he sought to explain his continuing relationship with Epstein even after the financier was convicted of procuring a child for prostitution in 2008. Andrew has refused to cooperate with American federal prosecutors investigating Epstein’s sex trafficking network, meriting a public statement from Southern District of New York prosecutors clarifying that the prince had steadfastly refused to be interviewed by them.

Maxwell was arrested as a result of an investigation into her role into Jeffrey Epstein’s trafficking network last week. The Daily Mail has cited a supposed associate of Maxwell who claims the longtime Epstein madame has video evidence of the sexual abuse of minors conducted by Epstein and his network of politically elite friends.
