US-Supplied Weapons to Ukraine Are Now Popping Up in Northern Europe and Gaza
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recently proclaimed that United States-supplied weapons to Ukraine are actually showing up in countries such as Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, and Sweden, in addition to the Gaza Strip.
“These weapons are spreading all over the world. The Kiev regime is infamous for being able to do [land-office] business on anything at all, including death. The weapons that the West is sending to the Ukrainian regime have already turned up not only in conflict zones in the Middle East but some illegal shipments of weapons have also been reported in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and the Gaza Strip,” Lavrov noted during a roundtable discussion with high-level foreign diplomats dealing with the situation concerning Ukraine.
Per Lavrov, the US and its allies in the Collective West are creating multiple international launchpads “for promoting a policy that is not so much dedicated to the Ukraine crisis as much as they are targeted against Russia,” as they took “advantage of the good manners of many countries in the Global South.” These Global South countries are often uncomfortable about refusing invitations to attend conferences or enter agreements with countries of the Collective West.
The West was once a great civilization that adopted some of the best economic and political principles that led to unprecedented human flourishing. Sadly, the past century of Western history has been marked by massive interventionist measures both domestically and internationally.
By embracing the latter, the West has embarked on a host of foreign policy escapades that have not only generated geopolitical instability abroad but also have bled these countries’ dry in terms of both manpower and treasury resources. To promote stability on the world stage, the West must cease and desist its proxy war against Russia in Ukraine.
