Veteran Freedom Activists Say Resisting COVID-19 Restrictions is Defining Liberty Issue of Our Time
On the 24th episode of Big League Politics Live dubbed the Liberty Conservatives reunion, host Shane Trejo and guest Rocco Lucente described resisting COVID-19 edicts as the defining liberty issue of our time.
Trejo and Lucente reject the notion, suggested by libertarian think-tanks like the CATO Institute, that mandatory vaccinations are moral and acceptable in society if they are pushed through the private sector. They believe all-out resistance is necessary to defeat the COVID regime.
“There’s just been so many scams, so many lies, so much disinformation, and it is obvious that they’re just flooding us with as much evil propaganda as possible to get us to break and submit and to be isolated. This is as evil of a social conditioning scheme as anyone could imagine. To me, it’s the literal fulfillment of all the darkest new world order prophecies come to life,” Trejo said, adding that COVID-19 resistance may be the “final stand” for liberty in Western countries.
“The number one impact of you getting vaccinated will be to enable them to implement an Apartheid society where the obedient get more privileges and the disobedient are second-class citizens,” Lucente said, arguing that Americans should resist the vaccine regardless of its efficacy.
Lucente has been a critic of the COVID-19 pandemic since its inception and feels that the continuous Orwellian crackdown has justified his initial skepticism.
“I have been doing my best to push back on this, and one of the things that people are going to have to realize in this fight is that there are times where you are going to have to fight against some of your neighbors…if you want your children to be able to go to school and not live in a dystopian hellhole for another school year,” he said, adding that liberty-minded activists should be devising extreme measures of civil disobedience.
Big League Politics has reported on how Australia is rapidly devolving into Big Brother tyranny with government officials using COVID-19 as an excuse to destroy the rights of the people:
“Recent news reports out of Australia indicate that the country has gone largely insane – with its government becoming a draconian surveillance state of the likes that has never before been seen.
A report out of Australia’s 9 news from a few days ago appears to be out of a dystopian fiction novel, with the news anchor and other guests using the media to publicly attack Australian citizens who are not complying with every government rule or mandate.
“It’s those doing the wrong thing driving our record case numbers,” began an anchor from Australia’s 9 News. “Among the most concerning cases, a COVID patient who’s tonight on the run from a hotspot. Police and health authorities have issued an urgent appeal.”
The anchor continued, exposing the citizen’s name for the entire world to see.
“Anthony Karam knows he’s COVID positive when he steps into this public lift, already breaking so many rules. He doesn’t bother to cover his mouth as he sneezes and splatters. The 27-year-old is still infectious but has gone missing from his Wentworth apartments.”
The segment then cut to Brad Hazzard, a prominent Australian health minister and politician.
“This 27-year-old chap who apparently has expressed the view that he doesn’t care less whether he spreads the virus is one example of the worst of the worst,” Hazzard angrily exclaimed in an efforts to shame Karam.
Stories from the report continued in a similar fashion, with the reporter saying “there’s little sympathy for anyone ignoring health orders” just before listing numerous other examples of draconian mandates in action including the handcuffing of a group of teenage friends meeting up to drink at the beach, a prominent Australian soccer player for lying to the police about why he had driven beyond the government’s accepted distance of “essential travel,” and construction workers being sent home without a paycheck because they did not properly follow government COVID protocols. The teenagers reportedly received $1,000 fines for what was considered to be an ‘illegal gathering.’
Efforts by the Australian government to publicly humiliate and then arrest Karam for leaving his own apartment proved successful, with a breaking news report showing his arrest on camera.
News reports from the country claimed that fellow citizens cheered upon Karam’s arrest.”
Trejo and Lucente agree that the public should get their “pitchforks and torches” before ever acquiescing to an Australia-style police state in the states.
