WATCH: Sen. Mazie Hirono Drops A Bomb On State Of The Union With Jake Tapper Over the Weekend

Published

on

In a new unbelievable interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) made the claim that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh had “broad credibility issues” and implied that Kavanaugh should not be presumed innocent because of the fact that he is a conservative judge.

“I put his denial in the context of everything that I know about him in terms of how he approaches his cases. His credibility is already very questionable in my mind and in the minds of a lot of my fellow Judiciary Committee members,” Hirono said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Hirono told Tapper that there are several cases Kavanaugh has ruled on that ‘exemplify his..inability to be fair.”

“This is a person who is going to be sitting on our Supreme Court making decisions that will impact women’s reproductive choice. He very much is against women’s reproductive choice,” Hirono said.

“There are so many indications of his own lack of credibility,” she added.

Ryan Saavedra with Daily Wire tweeted on Sunday, “CNN’s Jake Tapper: “Doesn’t Kavanaugh have the same presumption of innocence as anyone else in America?” Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono: “I put his denial in the context of everything that I know about him in terms of how he approaches his cases”

Tapper asked Hirono if Kavanaugh should receive the “same presumption of innocence as anyone else in America,” to which the senator relied, “I put his denial in the context of everything that I know about him in terms of how he approaches his cases.”

“When I say that he is very outcome driven, he has an ideological agenda, very outcome driven, and I could sit here and talk to you about some of the cases that exemplifies his ability to be fair,” Hirono added.

Hirono’s view is crystal clear, Kavanaugh cannot be trusted to have all women’s best interests at heart due to his opposition to Roe v. Wade, even though he did not voice his stance during the confirmation hearings.

This is the same senator from Hawaii who basically outed herself as a misandrist last week when she made this comment last week:

“Yes, of course it helps that there are women on that committee, but you know what? I expect the men in this country and the men in this committee and many of them-believe me because we all signed onto this letter-to demand an FBI investigation, but really guess who’s perpetuating all of these kinds of actions? It’s the men in this country and I just want to say to the men in this country, just shut up and step up and do the right thing for a change.”

Several have taken to social media to point out that most Democrats are not opposed to Kavanaugh because of the allegations, but rather, they’re opposed to him because they do not agree with his decisions on many cases.

Josiah Neely (@jneely78) tweeted on Sunday morning, “She’s just being honest. They don’t oppose him because they find the accusation credible. They find it credible because they oppose him.”

teriobrien (@teriobrien) tweeted Sunday morning, “. interview with proved indisputably that opposition to has NOTHING to do with . Her responses were all about her opposition to his public policy views, which is . Disgraceful

Mona Charen tweeted on Sunday morning, “Shorter Hirono: If I disagree with your philosophy, I am more likely to credit a harsh personal accusation. In other words: Mazie Hirono is not acting in good faith.”

It is truly astonishing just how close Democrats are getting to trashing the longtime legal principles of presumed innocence and due process.

They are allowing their blind hatred for all things right of center to throw all logic out of the window, while ruining lives in the process. They will stop at nothing, including eating their own, to stop Kavanaugh from being confirmed.

How will this effect the #MeToo movement in the future??

Robby Starbuck hit the nail on the head in this tweet, “What’s really treacherous about what the Democrats are doing to Brett Kavanaugh is that they’re weaponizing what was a non-partisan reckoning about assaults + harassment and turning it into a political dirty bomb. They’re stealing goodwill from and using it for a scam.”
