Video: Gillette Wants You to Knock Off Your ‘Toxic Masculinity’

Published

on

Razor company Gillette joined the social justice circus Monday, posting a video to its Facebook page warning men against “toxic masculinity.”

“We can’t hide from it. It’s been going on far too long. We can’t laugh it off, making the same old excuses,” the video said.

It then launches into clips from the #MeToo movement, saying that “something has finally changed.”

It features a male checking out a female on the street, and being stopped from doing so by his friend, and two young boys wrestling a backyard being separated by a man – both os which have been deemed unacceptable by Gillette’s marketing department. It also features a male employee explaining what a female employee meant to say on behalf of the female employee, a grave sin called “mansplaining,” which is totally unacceptable in civilized society.

The problem with Gillette’s idiotic display is that conflates two completely separate things: masculinity and sexual assault/sexual harassment. Traditional masculinity is good. Indeed, most women prefer traditionally masculine men, despite the verbal vomit spewed by petulant social justice freaks, or in this case, a male grooming company.

Sexual assault and harassment, on the other hand, are bad, and you shouldn’t do it.

The video has about 42,000 views and 1,400 shares. In relation to the company’s 2 million plus Facebook followers, it is a tiny minority.

Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra Runs Cover for Violent Dallas Rioters, Deletes Tweet

He’s yet to apologize.

The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra appeared to suggest that a Dallas man who sought to defend himself against riotous looters intiated a violent incident that left him severely injured and almost killed.

Saavedra claimed that those sharing video of a savage beating in which the unnamed Dallas man was brutally beaten by looters- while already being disabled and in a prone position- weren’t sharing the full story. As if video of a large crowd of men forcefully kicking and stomping on the man wasn’t evidence enough of their maliciousness.

The Ben Shapiro-linked reporter claimed that the video wasn’t telling the full story.

The rioters, who were supposedly victimized by the sword-wielding man, go on to chant “get his a**! Get his a**!

The so-called conservative reporter demanded that video of one of the most brutal crimes that looters have committed during the national wave of violence they’ve inflicted should be removed from the internet. On a totally erroneous basis, too- the extended video of the interaction between the man, who sources describe as defending his business from the property damage being inflicted by rioters in downtown Dallas, showed the crowd of men throwing rocks at him. He had armed himself with a sword, but there isn’t any reason to believe he was using it aggressively or in any unlawfully fashion before being attacked with a hail of rocks by riotous looters.

Perhaps after seeing the full video that he suggested would vindicate the rioters of viciously beating a downed man in an utterly dishonorable fashion that could’ve killed him, Saavedra finally deleted his tweet demanding that those sharing video of the beating delete it.

However, as of early Sunday morning, he’s yet to provide any serious apology, explanation or clarification on his Twitter feed for his utterly uninformed and censorious instincts. Video of a man being brutally beaten while he’s subdued on the ground is evidence enough to condemn riotous looters, but the Daily Wire’s reporter first instinct appears to be to vindicate them.
