Video Of Justin Trudeau Praising Communist Dictatorships Resurfaces

Canada’s trucker-run freedom convoy has served as an inspiration to many and remains ongoing despite numerous extreme and unprecedented efforts by the Canadian government to criminalize virtually any kind of protest they do not approve of.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau seems to be at his wit’s end, growing more heavy-handed in his attitude towards and treatment of the protestors as demonstrations rage on. This behavior by Trudeau has invited criticism from many, including The Canadian Civil Liberties Association, who lambasted Trudeau Monday for his unprecedented use of emergency powers invoked in order to criminalize truckers and their supporters overnight.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Justin Trudeau has been known to praise the actions of ham-fisted dictators in the past. Take for example this recently resurfaced clip showing the Canadian prime minister singing praises to Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping:

“There’s a level of admiration I actually have for China,” the effeminate prime minister gushed. “Because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime and say we need to go greenest fastest, we need to start investing in solar,” continued Trudeau, before wistfully fantasizing a scenario in which Canada is ruled by dictatorship. “There is a flexibility that I know [former Prime Minister] Stephen Harper must dream about having a dictatorship where he can do everything he wanted.”

Trudeau’s draconian rule over the Canadian people seems to be wearing the patience of many, even some who generally tend to toe the line for the pro-lockdown types; the New York Times editorial board even criticized his failure of leadership.

“We disagree with the protesters’ cause, but they have a right to be noisy and even disruptive. Protests are a necessary form of expression in a democratic society, particularly for those whose opinions do not command broad popular support. Governments have a responsibility to prevent violence by protesters, but they must be willing to accept some degree of disruption by those seeking to be heard.”
