Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer held a hallway press conference Thursday night to complain that President Donald Trump is prepared to shut down the federal government.
They also predictably love Defense Secretary James Mattis, who is leaving the administration in February in part because Trump does not want to start foreign wars including in Syria, where Trump defeated ISIS but has no intent to de-stabilize the country by removing Bashar al Assad.
Pelosi’s continuing resolution that did not include Wall funding was struck down by the outgoing Republican majority in the House, and now a new resolution with $5.7 billion that could go to the Wall is going to be voted on Thursday night.
“President Trump is plunging the country into chaos” said shellshocked loser Schumer.
