‘Wake Up America’ Facebook Group Sends Menacing Threat to President Trump

An anti-Trump Facebook group posted a graphic photo with a menacing caption directed at President Donald J. Trump.

“Just a for reminder for President Donald J. Trump” the caption says.

Pictured is Trump’s decapitated head being held by the Statue of Liberty.

Some commenters were not pleased with the photo.

“You people should be ashamed of yourselves…America keeps winning with President Donald Trump…we stand with our President,” said Tamara Velders.

Even less sympathetic commenters still thought the post to be grotesque.

“Not a fan or a hater of our president,” said Jordan Henderson. “Things I support him in and things I don’t. But this is waaaaaay over the line.”

Still, some commenters found the display to be perfectly acceptable.

“Never seen so much disrespect towards a sitting ‘president’ in my whole time of existence but Chump deserves it,” said Mari Rodriguez, cleverly referring to Trump as “Chump.”

Apparently, a threat directed at the President does not violate Facebook’s terms of service. The post is still live.

Facebook recently flagged text from the Declaration of Independence as “hate speech.” The tech giant blatantly removed a gospel group’s music video for being “too political” just a couple of weeks ago.

Apparently American history and anything remotely religious is beyond the pale, but the severed head of a sitting President is not.
