WaPo’s Token ‘Conservative’: Good Thing Republicans Can Be Voted Out For Slamming FBI Instead of NRA

The Washington Post’s neoconservative “Right Turn” blogger/columnist Jennifer Rubin thinks it’s a

Sam Stein shared a Daily Beast story expressing shock and outrage and fear etc. that Senate Republicans would beat up the FBI and the Broward County Sheriff’s Office — which literally stood outside the Parkland high school and allowed the shooting to happen — rather than target the NRA in an upcoming Parkland-themed hearing.

Rubin replied, “That would mean R’s don’t care about children, just staying on NRA’s good side?!? Mercy me. Good thing they can all be voted out.”

Jennifer Rubin’s embarassing journalism has attracted notice from our publication before. Big League Politics reported in June:

Neoconservative Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin recently quoted the neocon scholar who passed on the discredited “Trump dossier” to Sen. John McCain, who handed it to FBI director James Comey.

The debunked dossier, compiled by British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, was brought to the attention of McCain. It was former Bush State Department functionary David J. Kramer, a former senior fellow at Bill Kristol’s Project for a New American Century and now a senior director at the McCain Institute, who obtained the dossier in England and gave it to McCain. A pro-Clinton firm called Fusion GPS was integrally involved in some way in the spreading of the dossier, prompting increased scrutiny of the firm in recent days.

As Big League Politics exclusively reported, McCain watched the Election Night results in November with fellow neocon senator Lindsey Graham. When Graham said, “Well, now we’re going to have to deal with this guy (Trump) for four years,” McCain replied, “No. He’s going to have to deal with us.”

Reading Jennifer Rubin is the easiest way to piece together how the neocons operate, not because her articles are interesting or meritorious in and of themselves (they’re not), but because she sloppily exposes the in-plain-sight neocon networks that work together to undermine Trump and brazenly think that no one will expose them.

Kramer just happens to get quoted in Rubin’s work alongside McCain.

Here’s an excerpt from Rubin’s June 20 piece “Maybe Tillerson and Trump will finally understand why human rights matter”: (emphasis added):

And yet with regard to North Korea and Cuba, Trump’s words have much less effect than they would had he maintained a robust, consistent stance on human rights. “The administration has spoken out on human rights in Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, even Iran,” notes human rights expert and former State Department official David Kramer. “But the president’s embrace of Putin, Erdogan, Duterte, Sisi and Gulf leaders, his explicit statement in Riyadh that the United States will not ‘lecture’ others regarding human rights, and the secretary’s marginalization of human rights and democracy in his various remarks undermine U.S. efforts to advance human rights around the world.” He adds, “Whereas the previous administration showed little interest in the promoting human rights at the highest levels, the current one shows actual disdain for it. That demoralizes those struggling for an improvement in human rights in challenging places around the globe.”

Socialist “It Girl” Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez Slips, Wants to Turn Kansas Communist ‘Red’

During a campaign event with Bernie Sanders in Kansas on Friday, Socialist candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez encouraged Democrat voters in Kansas to turn that state red.

In a video that was posted to Sanders’s twitter account, Ocasio-Cortez is seen standing next to Bernie Sanders saying, “Hello, everybody! So excited to be here on Sen. Sanders’ account and we’re here in Kansas City to rally for Brent Welder,” the New York congressional candidate said. “We’re gonna flip this seat red in November.”

Sanders has since deleted the video, but the internet is forever:

Despite calling for voters in Kansas to vote Republican, the video is still on Sanders’s Twitter and has not been deleted. In the video, Brent Welder, the candidate Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez traveled to Kansas to campaign for can be seen awkwardly hovering behind Sanders in the video as well while Ocasio encourages voters to vote for his opposition.

Anyone with basic knowledge of how the American political system works knows that Republican states are red, and Democrat states are blue. The differentiation between red and blue states is a political concept that is taught in most 8th grade social studies courses, which further emphasizes the fact that Ocasio-Cortez, a self proclaimed socialist, is highly uneducated in American politics and economics.

Since winning a primary in New York City last month against 20-year Democratic incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY), Ocasio’s lack of political knowledge and extreme unawareness regarding domestic and foreign policy has been put on full display for the world to see.

“We know that people in Kansas, just like everywhere else in this country, just like families in the Bronx, just want a fair shake,” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the surprise winner in a New York House primary last month, told the crowd of more than 3,000 in a suburb of Kansas City.

While Ocasio-Cortez proclaims to be a 28-year-old Latina “girl from the Bronx”, it was shortly revealed after she won the primary against Crowley that she has been dishonest with voters about her background in an attempt to appeal to socialists. Ocasio grew up in Westchester, NY, which is one of the most expensive counties in the United States.

In another embarrassing moment in which her lack of knowledge was exposed, Ocasio-Cortez, during an interview with PBS host Margaret Hoover was asked if capitalism has failed working class Americans. Ocasio-Cortez said that evidence shows Capitalism has failed and that unemployment was decreasing because everyone in America has two jobs.

“Well, I think the numbers you just talked about is part of the problem, right? We look at these figures and we say, ‘Oh, unemployment is low, everything is fine,’ right?” Ocasio-Cortez told Hoover. “Well, unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs. Unemployment is low because people are working 60, 70, 80 hours a week and can barely feed their kids.”

Ocasio Cortez’s claim that every single American is working two jobs is inaccurate and completely false. Along with being false, her claim is alarming, given the fact that she is running to become an elected official and is being given an immense amount of airtime to spew lies about the American political and economic landscape.

During the same interview with Hoover, the socialist was fully exposed as having no knowledge about Israel and Middle Eastern foreign policy. When asked about Israel, Ocasio-Cortez said Israel is an occupier of Palestine. When Hoover asked her to explain what she means by occupied Palestine, she mumbled incoherent thoughts together, and kept stuttering while awkwardly looking around the room until she finally stopped talking and admitted she is not an expert on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Ocasio-Cortez is set to travel the country campaigning for several more far–Left candidates throughout the 2018 midterms. If she and her Democrat counterparts continue spewing socialist talking points, encourage violence against the Right, and keep making fools of themselves on mainstream media, the Democratic Party won’t need a low-IQ 28-year old woman to tell voters to flip states Red. Millions of voters on their own will wake up and #WalkAway.
