WAR: Facebook, Apple Both Ban Infowars From Their Platforms

Published

on

As if the conservative censorship couldn’t get any worse, social media giant Facebook has now upped the game by deleting four Facebook pages connected to Alex Jones and Infowars–just four months before the midterms.

The removal comes after Facebook imposed a 30-day ban on Jones’ personal account “for his role in posting violating content to these pages,” but at 3 a.m. local time, Facebook confirmed the removal of the Alex Jones Page, the Alex Jones Channel Page, the Inforwars Page and the Infowars Nightly News Page. Just last week, the company removed four videos shared on Jones’ channel, but the Infowars crew was still able to upload new content to the four pages.

Without any clarification on which posts or videos violated their policies, Facebook announced in a blog post on Monday morning that the four channels were “unpublished for repeated violations of Community Standards and accumulating too many strikes.”

Paul Joseph Watson, editor-at-large for Infowars reacts:

Facebook has even limited Paul Joseph Watson from sending private messages:

A spokesperson from Facebook said: “More content from the same pages has been reported to us – upon review, we have taken it down for glorifying violence, which violates our graphic violence policy, and using dehumanizing language to describe people who are transgender, Muslims and immigrants, which violates our hate speech policies.”

According to the blog post, Jones has the ability to appeal the decision by Facebook, but if the appeal fails, his page will be permanently removed from the site. The four Infowars pages had a combined total of over 2.5 million followers.

In a Gateway Pundit study of top conservative news outlets Facebook was found to have eliminated 93% of traffic to top conservative websites.

WikiLeaks tweeted out Monday morning that the ability for Facebook to censor rival publishers is a global anti-trust issue:

The decision to remove the four Facebook pages hosted by Infowars comes on the heels of another major ban against the new media giant Infowars. Early Monday morning, Apple confirmed they had removed five out of the six podcasts that were currently available which includes “The Alex Jones Show” and numerous other Infowars audio streams.

Again, on the premise of “hate speech”, Apple has taken down the entire libraries of Infowars podcasts, rather than to remove a few individual episodes.

“Apple does not tolerate hate speech, and we have clear guidelines that creators and developers must follow to ensure we provide a safe environment for all of our users,” an Apple spokesperson said in a statement on Monday.

“Podcasts that violate these guidelines are removed from our directory making them no longer searchable or available for download or streaming. We believe in representing a wide range of views, so long as people are respectful to those with differing opinions.”

Watch David Knight with RealNews @RealNewsX2 discuss Apples recent decision:

The social media monopoly has reached full tilt with the censorship of conservative accounts and publications. This is a last ditch effort to try to stop us at the polls this fall. It’s time to take our country back. This means WAR.
