WATCH: Beto Double Down on His Support for 40-Week Abortions
Democratic Presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke doubled down on his support for late-term abortions.
Sticking to his hands-off approach after being questioned for the second time if he supports late-term abortions, Beto quickly avoided answering the question. At an earlier campaign event in Cleveland, Beto was asked if he supported third-trimester abortions. He responded with a vague “I trust her” answer.
He attempted to back up that opinion at Penn State when he was asked if “a woman’s right to choose” included abortion up to the third-trimester. Naturally, he spun his way out of the question. “I think those decisions are best left to a woman and her doctor,” he said.
Is Beto ever going to give a hard “yes” or “no” answer to his stance on abortion?

At Penn State today, Beto was asked about his defense of third-trimester abortion. He doubled down: “I think those decisions are best left to a woman and her doctor.
