Roger Stone is facing seven counts, ranging from lying to Congress, to witness tampering, in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into so-called Russia collusion during the 2016 election.

Stone pleaded not guilty in an initial arraignment hearing in Washington, D.C. last week.

The raid of his home is a subject of heavy scrutiny, considering it involved dozens of heavily armed police officers and FBI agents.

Among the heavy police force, CNN was there to catch the entire thing.

Big League Politics caught up with Stone during his trip to Washington, and he informed us of who he believes tipped off CNN about the impending raid, saying:

“I think Josh Campbell of CNN, who’s a former special assistant to James Comey, and I think he should be questioned under oath by the Senate Judiciary Committee to find out how it is possible, because we now know that CNN’s truck arrived roughly 30 minutes before the FBI strike force.”

Regardless of how CNN knew, the entire raid reeks of political theater designed to create a media spectacle.
