A video shows Islamic prayers being blasted for a radius of several city blocks in blocks in Brooklyn.
“No God but Allah, Mohammad is his messenger,” can be heard blasting from the Masjid-Al-Aman Mosque in a June 1 video filmed by Brooklyn resident Derrick Gibson.
“I am in downtown Brooklyn, but I swear it’s Saudi Arabia,” Gibson said. “Y’all hear that? What the hell disturbing the peace! You gotta love it right here in America – this not Saudi Arabia.”
The noise becomes progressively louder as the video continues.
The subtitles of the video, posted by Third Rail Talk, claim that the noise is a “gross violation” of New York City’s noise control ordinance.
