WATCH Jimmy Carter AFTER Mueller: Russian Interference ‘If Fully Investigated Would Show That Trump Didn’t Actually Win’

Former President Jimmy Carter had a senior moment earlier today, where he apparently forgot all about the years-long investigation into Russian collusion by FBI special counsel Robert Mueller while addressing a resort in Leesburg, Virginia.
Carter argued that Trump would be shown as an illegitimate President if an investigation were to take place, never mind that the Mueller report showed no evidence of Russian collusion and failed to demonstrate that any Russian activities impacted the electoral result of the 2016 presidential election.
The video can be seen here:
Former President Jimmy Carter: If fully investigated, it would show that Trump didn't actually win the election in 2016. He lost the election and he was put in office because the Russians interfered …on his behalf.

“If fully investigated, it would show that Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016. He lost the election and he was put in office because the Russians interfered …on his behalf,” Carter said.
Journalist Jon Meacham, who moderated the event featuring Carter and his former Vice President Walter Mondale, responded with a question: “So do you believe President Trump is an illegitimate president?”
Carter: “Based on what I just said, which I can’t retract, [laughing] yes.”
Back in reality, the multi-year investigation conducted by FBI spook Robert Mueller showed nothing of the sort. President Trump uses his Twitter account to make those facts known quite often.

….investigation in the Senate. They can talk to John Dean until the cows come home, we’re not doing anything in the Senate regarding the Mueller Report. We are going to harden our Infrastructure against 2020!” @LindseyGrahamSC

Although Carter – one of the worst failing presidents in modern history – feels that Trump should “condemn” the Russians because of deep state allegations, Trump is busy mending ties with Russia and facilitating diplomacy.

There was once a time when the dovish Carter was concerned about making peace in the world, but now he is more concerned about fueling the fire of Democratic Party conspiracy theories. It may be time to finally put the Georgia peanut farmer out to pasture.
