Watch: MASSIVE Baltimore Shootout Between Police and Criminal, Suspect Killed

Video has surfaced of a gunfight between police and a criminal suspect in Baltimore that appears as if it would be happening in a war-torn battelfield such as Syria or Iraq.

Judging from the length of the video and the consistent volume of shots fired, including some of which may possibly have been discharged from an automatic weapon, it’s likely that more than a hundred shots may have been fired during the incident.

Police were engaging a suspect since-identified as Tyrone Banks, who fled from officers in an SUV. After he crashed his car in the midst of the pursuit, he began firing at officers, who ultimately killed Banks in a hail of gunfire.

A woman who Banks side-swiped as he drove through a red light and crashed was injured, but is expected to make a full recovery after what must have an extremely traumatic experience.

One officer was also discharged from an area hospital Friday morning after receiving treatment for unspecified injuries.

Cell phone video of the unbelievable shootout first surfaced on the Twitter account of @tayyfromthetrap Thursday night.

Banks’ car crash can be seen on tape, before a massive exchange of gunfire between himself and officers resulted in his death.

Sources describe Banks as a suspect in what’s been called a police-involved shooting. A area man who claims to have known him describes the 30-year old man with an extensive criminal history as having severe mental illness, possibly desiring to commit suicide by cop.

Baltimore’s reputation has been slighted by reports of mass criminality and blighted urban neighborhoods in recent years. President Donald Trump recently engaged in a feud with leading House Democrat Elijah Cummings over the state of his district, which is located in the Maryland city.
