WATCH: MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski Uses Homophobic Slur on ‘Morning Joe’

An MSNBC host used a homophobic slur during a monologue on the talk show that she cohosts with her newlywed husband Wednesday.
“Is that a patriot speaking? Or a wannabe dictator’s butt boy?” Mika Brzezinski asked her cohost/husband Joe Scarborough on “Morning Joe.”
The pair was discussing Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s reaction to the death of terror-tied Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi, over which the left has feigned outrage for weeks.
Brzezinski is not the only MSNBC host who has been busted for homophobia. Homophobic blog posts written by host of “AM Joy,” Joy Ann Reid, surfaced in April. She denied writing the posts, and called in the FBI for a forensic investigation before admitting that she was, in fact the author. She was never disciplined by the network or for filing false reports.
CNN reporter Kaitlin Collins had similar troubles when past Tweets surfaced in October. She was forced to apologize, but was not disciplined by her network.
Of course, the double-standard barely needs addressing. When the class of people that continually chastises Republicans as bigots shows its true colors, there is never any recourse. If the roles were reversed, though, it would be front page news.
