WATCH: Nancy Pelosi Fumbles Words, Struggles Through Press Conference

A 78-year-old Democrat Congresswoman from California struggled to string words together during a press conference yesterday.

Nancy Pelosi fumbled over the phrase “soybean futures” among others, paused for inordinate amounts of time staring blankly into the camera, and asked a reporter to “repoot” a question.

WATCH NOW:

Pelosi, the House Minority Leader, has held elected office since 1987.

She, along with 79-year-old Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and 67-year-old Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) are the public faces of the aging Democrat party.

This is not the first time in recent history that Pelosi has had trouble speaking in public.

In April, she struggled through a short speech at the Refugees International Annual Gala. In March, she had a difficult time at a press conference in which she bashed President Donald J. Trump’s tax plan, which has been a massive success. A year ago, she confused Trump with President George W. Bush for the second time.

Something is clearly not right with Pelosi. How much longer will the Democrats allow her in front of a camera?
