WATCH: Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Slams ‘Authoritarian’ Trump, Compares Him to Obama in 2016

Pompeo was an outspoken ‘Never Trumper’ before he wormed his way into the Trump administration.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has created the facade that he is one of President Donald Trump’s most loyal proponents, but he was a vicious ‘Never Trumper’ before he became an administration official.

“You know, Donald Trump the other day said that, in quote, if he tells a soldier to commit a war crime, the soldier will just go do it. He said they’ll do as I tell them to do,” said Pompeo, who was stumping for “Little” Marco Rubio in the Kansas GOP presidential caucus when he made the statement in 2016.

“We’ve spent seven and a half years with an authoritarian president who ignored our constitution,” Pompeo added, comparing Trump to former President Obama. “We don’t need four more years of that.”

Pompeo, who was serving in the U.S. House of Representatives at the time, also said that military personnel “don’t swear an allegiance to President Trump or any other President … They take an oath to defend our Constitution, as Kansans, as conservatives, as Republicans, as Americans.”

In his role as Secretary of State, Pompeo has opened up the pipeline for fellow ‘Never Trumpers’ to obtain prestigious roles within the administration.

Mary Kissel, who Trump once called a “major loser,” was hired by Pompeo as a senior adviser in the State Department despite opposing her boss on every single one of his policies.

Pompeo also hired James Jeffrey as his envoy for the Syrian war despite the fact that he was a ‘Never Trumper’ who signed a pro-Hillary Clinton letter arguing that Trump was “a dangerous president [who] would put at risk our country’s national security and well-being” in 2016.

In Pompeo’s most outrageous betrayal of Trump, he hired Elliott Abrams – the disgraced figure who supported the Iraq War and perjured himself by lying to Congress over the Iran/Contra scandal – as the Venezuelan envoy despite Abrams’ long-stated goal for the GOP establishment to “seize the party machinery back immediately” from Trump’s control.

Pompeo actually revels in his ability to lie to the American public and protect the deep state, something that he did proudly while serving as CIA Director. He admitted as much in a chilling clip to a group of students at Texas A&M University earlier this year.

“What’s the cadet motto at West Point? You will not lie, cheat, or steal, or tolerate those who do. I was the CIA director. We lied, we cheated, we stole. It’s — it was like — we had entire training courses. It reminds you of the glory of the American experiment,” Pompeo said on April 15.

When it comes to subversives within the Trump administration who are subverting the MAGA agenda, Pompeo may very well be at the top of that list.

Supreme Court Contender Amy Coney Barrett Visits White House as Trump Prepares to Announce Pick

She’s reportedly the frontrunner.

Judge Amy Coney Barrett visited the White House on Monday, as President Donald Trump zeroes in on selecting a nominee to fill the vacant seat on the US Supreme Court.

Barrett is reportedly a front-runner for the judicial nomination. She’s a generally conservative judge, with a staunch pro-life record. Her track record on immigration law issues is generally conservative.

Barrett currently serves as a circuit judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has advised President Trump that she is his preferred candidate for the seat on the court.

President Trump had confirmed that he plans to nominate a woman to fill the seat of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, who died of complications from pancreatic cancer on Friday.

Democrats have launched a full-fledged fit urging President Trump to give them a break and decline to nominate a conservative justice, but they won’t be so lucky. Republican Senators and President Trump have rallied around the notion of appointing a justice before the November election, fulfilling their constitutional responsibilities.

Trump confirmed that he would be revealing the identity of his judicial nominee on Friday or Saturday, taking a few extra days to vet candidates. Florida Judge Barbara Lagoa is reportedly another candidate being considered for the nomination.

It’ll be inherently harder for incensed, power-thirsty Democrats to attack a female judicial candidate. Maybe they’ll alienate swing female voters through waging a scorched earth campaign to block the confirmation of Barrett, who is a mother of seven.
