WATCH: Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Slams ‘Authoritarian’ Trump, Compares Him to Obama in 2016

Pompeo was an outspoken ‘Never Trumper’ before he wormed his way into the Trump administration.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has created the facade that he is one of President Donald Trump’s most loyal proponents, but he was a vicious ‘Never Trumper’ before he became an administration official.

“You know, Donald Trump the other day said that, in quote, if he tells a soldier to commit a war crime, the soldier will just go do it. He said they’ll do as I tell them to do,” said Pompeo, who was stumping for “Little” Marco Rubio in the Kansas GOP presidential caucus when he made the statement in 2016.

“We’ve spent seven and a half years with an authoritarian president who ignored our constitution,” Pompeo added, comparing Trump to former President Obama. “We don’t need four more years of that.”

Pompeo, who was serving in the U.S. House of Representatives at the time, also said that military personnel “don’t swear an allegiance to President Trump or any other President … They take an oath to defend our Constitution, as Kansans, as conservatives, as Republicans, as Americans.”

In his role as Secretary of State, Pompeo has opened up the pipeline for fellow ‘Never Trumpers’ to obtain prestigious roles within the administration.

Mary Kissel, who Trump once called a “major loser,” was hired by Pompeo as a senior adviser in the State Department despite opposing her boss on every single one of his policies.

Pompeo also hired James Jeffrey as his envoy for the Syrian war despite the fact that he was a ‘Never Trumper’ who signed a pro-Hillary Clinton letter arguing that Trump was “a dangerous president [who] would put at risk our country’s national security and well-being” in 2016.

In Pompeo’s most outrageous betrayal of Trump, he hired Elliott Abrams – the disgraced figure who supported the Iraq War and perjured himself by lying to Congress over the Iran/Contra scandal – as the Venezuelan envoy despite Abrams’ long-stated goal for the GOP establishment to “seize the party machinery back immediately” from Trump’s control.

Pompeo actually revels in his ability to lie to the American public and protect the deep state, something that he did proudly while serving as CIA Director. He admitted as much in a chilling clip to a group of students at Texas A&M University earlier this year.

“What’s the cadet motto at West Point? You will not lie, cheat, or steal, or tolerate those who do. I was the CIA director. We lied, we cheated, we stole. It’s — it was like — we had entire training courses. It reminds you of the glory of the American experiment,” Pompeo said on April 15.

When it comes to subversives within the Trump administration who are subverting the MAGA agenda, Pompeo may very well be at the top of that list.

More than half of national Republican voters recognize President Donald Trump as the legitimate victor of the 2020 Presidential election, according to a new poll from Reuters.

The poll questioned national voters on their impressions of the election. 73% of respondents recognized that Joe Biden “won,” but when asked which candidate “rightfully won,” Republican voters were far more skeptical. 52% of Republicans indicated that Donald Trump was the rightful victor of the 2020 election.

55% of voters described the 2020 election as “legitimate and accurate,” down 7% from the 62% of Americans who described the 2016 election as such. 28% expressly identified the election outcome as the product of “illegal voting or election rigging,” up 12% from 2016.

Even some Democrats and Independents expressed concerns over election integrity. 16% of Democrats and 33% of Independents said they were concerned over election rigging, with a strong majority of 68% of Republicans agreeing.

Democrats have largely memory-holed years of election conspiracy theories alleging wide-ranging interference plots on the part of the Russian Federation, now claiming that questioning the veracity of election results is a slap in the face to American democracy.

The mainstream media continually insists that there’s nothing to see and no reason to be skeptical of the election processes- which eroded a strong lead for Donald Trump days after the election. However, the people don’t seem so easily convinced.
