Waukesha Massacre Suspect Slapped With $5 Million Bail After Child Dies in Sixth Fatality

Waukesha massacre arrestee Darrell Brooks made his first appearance at the Waukesha County Courthouse on Tuesday afternoon, facing five charges of first-degree intentional homicide after his red SUV rammed through groups of grandmothers and children at a Christmas parade.
Judge Kevin Costello set Brooks’ bail at the $5 million requested by prosecutors, referencing Brooks’ outstanding criminal cases and his inability to refrain from criminal activity while free from custody on bail.

Prosecutors revealed at the first hearing that a child-the sixth fatality- had died as a result of injuries sustained from the SUV attack. They expect to file an additional count of intentional homicide against Brooks for the killing. Wisconsin abolished capital punishment in 1853.

Prosecutors also revealed that more than 60 members of the community were injured in the attack, which may be one of the most violent crimes in the history of the state of Wisconsin.
The mainstream media has falsely claimed that the ramming attack occurred as an accident, with Brooks attempting to flee law enforcement following an earlier crime. Waukesha Police Chief Dan Thompson corrected this misinformation in a Monday press conference, indicating authorities have every reason to believe Brooks rammed into the parade intentionally.
It’s since been revealed that Brooks posted in anger about the “not guilty” verdict in Kyle Rittenhouse’s homicide trial on his Facebook account.

If convicted, Brooks will face a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment.
