Weinstein Faces Life in Prison After New Charges Filed

Published

on

Hollywierd pervert and accused rapist Harvey Weinstein could face a sentence of life in prison after a Manhattan District Attorney levied new charges against him today.

“Weinstein, 66, is facing new charges of Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree for a forcible sexual act against a woman in 2006 as well as two counts of Predatory Sexual Assault,” says a Daily Mail report. “Predatory Sexual Assault carries a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life behind bars.”

According to District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Weinstein has now been charged with “some of the most serious sexual offenses that exist under New York’s Penal Law.”

One of the new Predatory Sexual Assault charge relates to an incident during which Weinstein allegedly assaulted and raped a woman in New York on July 10, 2016. The other is a new charge stemming from the same incident in 2013 for which Weinstein was already charged with First and Third Degree Rape. The Predatory Sexual Assault charges carry a potential life sentence. Weinstein faces five to 25 years if convicted of First Degree Rape.

Weinstein has long been tied to the Democrat party, and has donated hundreds of thousands to Democrats over the years.

Big League Politics reported:

Under pressure, the DNC announced that it would send a tenth of its Weinstein money to “groups that elect women,” and Clinton said she will donate an equivalent amount of her Weinstein money to charity.

The Democratic National Committee and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer are not making overtures to return their donations from accused sexual harasser Harvey Weinstein.

Weinstein has been fired by the Weinstein Company, which he started with his brother, as his entire world falls apart in Hollywood. The super-producer is the latest establishment Democrat target of left-wing progressive outrage.

A super PAC sent me details on the money not being returned:

“Weinstein has given at least $246,290 to the DNC since 1994

  • Weinstein has donated at least $23,200 to the DCCC since 1993
  • During her 2016 presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton received at least $5,400 from Weinstein
  • Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has been the recipient of at least $16,200 in campaign donations from Weinstein dating back to 1997
  • Senator Al Franken and his PAC have gotten campaign cash from Weinstein totaling at least $19,800 since 2006″

BLP Passage Ends.

For now, it would appear that Weinstein’s money will be funneled into his own legal fund instead of Democrat coffers.

Roger Stone Files Motion to Remove Judge From Controversial Case

Stone was sentenced to 40 months in prison this week.

Roger Stone has filed a motion to remove the presiding judge from his controversial court case on Saturday, just days after the longtime Republican political operative was sentenced to a stringent 40-month prison term for lying to federal investigators.

Stone is seeking a new trial, and his legal team is pointing out evidence of Judge Amy Berman Jackson’s bias against their client as cause for a new judge. Jackson complimented the jury after they handed on the lengthy prison sentence on Stone for process crimes, stating that they had “served with integrity.

There’s further reason to believe that Stone, a former adviser to President Donald Trump in the early days of his 2016 Presidential campaign, has been made a victim of deep-seated political bias during the trial, one of the few to result from Robert Mueller’s lengthy and ultimately empty Russian interference probe.

At least one juror has stepped forward to bemoan an effort by the DOJ to dial back aggressive prosecutors seeking to place Stone in prison for an even lengthier amount of time. Juror Tomeka Heart is a committed Democrat former congressional candidate. She’s posted at length on her personal social media about her personal dislike of President Trump.

It’s rather shocking that a juror with such a distinguishable political affiliation wouldn’t be passed up in a court case with direct national political implications. Stone’s lawyers mention Heart’s partisan affiliation in their court filing for a new trial and judge.

Stone currently remains free, pending his filing for a new trial.

Tucker Carlson discussed the pressing ethical lapses surrounding Stone’s conviction and sentencing during a segment on his show Thursday night.
