A WH Press Pool Driver Snuck A Gun Into Trump’s Motorcade
A White House press pool driver was detained by the Secret Service after a gun was found in his bag on Monday. The situation occurred as reporters were preparing to be taken from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida to Palm Beach International Airport.
According to a pool report, the driver “said he forgot to leave the firearm inside his personal vehicle before entering van.”
The gun was found during a screening off club grounds an hour before the press pool was scheduled to join the motorcade. Another press pool driver “grazed” a Secret Service agent’s vehicle in the Mar-a-Lago parking lot, leaving minimal damage.
After these series of events, the all press pool drivers were replaced, probably for good reason…
