Wyoming County GOP Chapters Move to Censure Liz Cheney for Impeaching President Trump

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) received countless plaudits from the fake news media and Democrats for voting to impeach former President Donald Trump, but she is paying the price from her constituents after her shameful betrayal.
The Laramie County Republican Party’s central committee voted on Tuesday evening to censure Cheney, the latest of over a dozen counties throughout the state that have voted to censure the reviled neoconservative ‘America Last’ figure.
The resolution passed by the Laramie County GOP claims Cheney’s actions “stand in contradiction to the quantifiable will of the majority of the electorate of Wyoming” and devalued “the political influence of the state of Wyoming by voting in favor of a process that followed no known hearing process, provided no evidence to consider, called no witnesses to be sworn and allowed none of the accusers to be questioned by the accused.”
Central committee member Renae Snider, who brought the resolution forward, noted that this issue is about far more than Trump. She believes that Cheney violated her oath to the Constitution by joining the Democrats’ illegal impeachment farce.
“This is not because we love Trump,” Snider said. “It is about that she voted without due process, without having witnesses (and) without having a hearing.”
“She has betrayed us as her constituents, she has betrayed the state of Wyoming, she has betrayed the country, and she’s betrayed the Constitution that she has sworn an oath to support and defend,” said committeemember Mike Heath, who voted affirmatively on the measure.
Cheney claimed that Trump “summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack,” blaming him for violence that occurred during a mostly-peaceful protest in and around the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
This follows the state GOP committee’s decision to pass a resolution demanding Cheney’s resignation from office shortly after she voted to impeach Trump, which Big League Politics reported:
The Wyoming Republican Party passed a resolution on Saturday demanding for Rep. Liz Cheney to “immediately” resign after she joined the Democrats to impeach former President Donald Trump for a second time…
The resolution is also demanding that Cheney return all of the money that she fleeced out of Republicans for donations under false pretenses.
Cheney was too weak and pathetic to even show up and face the music while she was being reprimanded for her disloyal and disingenuous actions to help the Democrats.
She released a demeaning statement after the fact claiming that her enraged constituents are ignorant of the U.S. Constitution.
“My vote to impeach was compelled by the oath I swore to the Constitution. Wyoming citizens know that this oath does not bend or yield to politics or partisanship,” Cheney said…
While Cheney’s actual constituents express their disdain for her behavior, she was recently reaffirmed during a private vote of House Republicans who were too cowardly to show where they stood to the public.
Cheney’s career will be over, and her family’s legacy will be tarnished forevermore in Republican politics. Her father, former vice president Dick Cheney, sent tens of thousands of American troops to die in Iraq based on lies. They will be remembered among the worst to ever hold office.
