Alleged Crypto Fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried Met with the Biden White House 4 Times in 2022, Most Recently in September

By Shane Trejo

Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, accused of embezzling funds of his crypto exchange and facing years in prison, had meetings with White House officials at least four times in 2022, most recently in September.

This shows the tremendous access and influence that Bankman-Fried had in 2022, as he gave tens of millions of dollars to the Democrats and helped fuel their surprisingly strong showing in the midterms with his ill-gotten gains in what could be considered a money laundering operation to rig elections.

Bankman-Fried met with White House adviser Steve Ricchetti three times and senior Biden aide Bruce Reed one time, according to a Bloomberg report. The White House claims they were being advised by Bankman-Fried on cryptocurrency policy and not discussing politics any further than that.

Big League Politics has reported on the possibility of another miscarriage of justice occurring in Bankman-Fried’s trial after a Democrat-appointed judge with a dubious record was assigned to the case:

Alleged cryptocurrency fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried has been assigned a judge who oversaw a high-profile Jeffrey Epstein case and allowed Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey walk in a case where he was accused of sexually abusing a child.

District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan has been assigned the case against Bankman-Fried, the FTX co-founder who has been accused of fraud for allegedly swindling investors and stealing their deposits. Bankman-Fried has received glowing coverage from the media despite the fraud allegations after donating tens of millions to Democrats during the 2022 midterm elections.
