A new poll for the Republican U.S. Senate primary in Missouri shows former governor Eric Greitens has taken the lead.
According to a poll conducted by the Trafalgar Group from May 16-18 of likely GOP primary voters, Greitens is the top U.S. Senate contender with 26 percent of support. He is trailed by Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler with 23.4 percent, state attorney general Eric Schmitt with 18.9 percent, Congressman Billy Long with 9.1 percent, and property-defending attorney Mark McCloskey with 3.2 percent. 16.7 percent of voters remain undecided.
These results show that a recent establishment smear campaign to destroy Greitens’ public image has failed, and he remains the frontrunner to win the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate.
Big League Politics has reported on how Karl Rove and other RINO establishment powers are colluding against Greitens in a desperate attempt to keep him out of the Senate:
“The lawyer for Missouri U.S. Senate candidate Eric Greitens is contending that his ex-wife, Sheena Greitens, lied about abuse allegations in a sworn affidavit after being coached by neoconservative Bush hack Karl Rove.
“Sheena Greitens lied in a sworn affidavit alleging abusive behavior that never happened. Her false story is contradicted by numerous photographs, videos, medical and dental records, and even Sheena’s own emails. Multiple sources have now confirmed that she did discuss these matters with Karl Rove before they were filed,” attorney Tim Parlatore wrote in a public statement.
“She lied when she claimed that she wanted to keep these family matters private and protect her children from public disclosure because she is the one who leaked her own affidavit to the media to bring public attention,” he continued.
“Sheena Greitens lied when she said ‘they were reported to multiple lawyers, therapists, and our mediator, in 2018 and afterward.’ These individuals are mandated reporters, required by Missouri law to report allegations of abuse. No such reports have been made,” Parlatore added.
Big League Politics has reported on Greitens’ doubling down on his war against RINOs like Rove and Sen. Mitch McConnell after his attempted character assassination by the fake news media.
